What does the administration want with the children in Platform 2?
The platform 2 Keeps some elements intentionally vague, including a subplot involving a group of children playing around a stone pyramid. Occasionally, the sequel will cut away to scenes with no real context for what they mean or even when they happen. However, the presence of Alexandra Masangkay’s Miharu – who in the first film is shown trying to save her daughter from the pit – and how she accompanies the boy Perempuan later rescues from the pyramid suggests that a grand scheme is at play.
The vertical self-management center is like a twisted social experiment on behalf of whoever runs the tower. The rulers test the morals and principles of the residents, both with the distribution of food and their response to being deprived of it. for weeks on end. They also put children on the bottom level, apparently so the prisoners seeking redemption will attempt to rescue them.

Does the final level of the platform even exist?
The last moments of The platform Get surreal when the badly wounded Goreng discovers a child that supposedly shouldn’t exist, and they descend into a dark void together. For me, the lowest level does not exist. Goreng is dead before he arrives, and this is just his interpretation of what he felt he had to do.

Goreng was badly beaten before reaching floor 333, while Perempuan suffers a severe head injury when she discovers the boy. The films offer two readings; Everything is real and the main paragraphs end up saving two innocent souls, or they are already dead and their “excrement” in the void is their dying thoughts.
The latter reading is reinforced by the way they see dead characters in the void itself. Both films are driven by metaphor and subtext, with the children representing purity and innocence. The protagonists lack in both, thus By sacrificing themselves to save the children, they save their own souls. At least, that’s one way to read their purpose inside The platform series, but ultimately it’s up to the individual viewer to decide if they even exist.
