Lydia’s biological mother is the perfect replacement for Delia in Beetlejuice 3

She would be a perfect new addition

Although Catherine O’Hara’s Delia Deetz cannot be fully replaced, there is an opportunity to play her role as Lydia’s mother in Beetlejuice 3. Beetle juice Beetle juice reveals that Lydia Deetz’s biological mother is still alive, opening up a series of questions about their relationship and while she chose to live with Delia and Charles.

Now that Delia is gone, Beetlejuice 3 could bring Lydia’s biological mother into the fold, fleshing out the Deetz family tree. Giving Tim Burton the chance to create another new family member in Beetlejuice 3 it would be a lot of fun, as Astrid was a fantastic addition to the sequel. So while Beetle juice Beetle juice created a huge problem, the way the film treated Lydia’s mother means it may have solved it at the same time.
