While George Lucas‘ sequel trilogy never came to fruition, the villains he planned to use were brought to life by an exceptional Star Wars Cosplay. After the conclusion of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Lucas was initially adamant that there was no Episode VII And that he would never let another filmmaker continue his saga. However, Lucas changed his mind when he sold the franchise to Disney in 2012, who quickly set Lucasfilm to work on the Star Wars Sequel trilogy. Lucas has even developed his own treatments with Darth Maul and Darth Talon as the main villains.

Instagram cosplayer ray_shreider has posted many impressive photos of a live-action Darth Talon, and one of the best is a gorgeous lit shot of her and Darth Maul:

The makeup perfectly captures Maul’s design from the movies and Talon’s appearance Star Wars: Legacy by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema, where she debuted in 2006. Lucas was impressed enough by her character to have her and Maul face off against the New Republic and Luke Skywalker’s New Jedi Order in his version of the sequel trilogy.

George Lucas has multiple plans for Maul and Talon

From movies to video games

George Lucas is clearly determined to have Darth Maul and Darth Talon return to Star WarsAs multiple projects were in development around the same time. Maul eventually returned in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 4, where it was revealed that he survived getting cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi and sports a new set of robotic legs. Maul and his brother, Savage Opress, formed their own criminal syndicate, similar to Maul’s role in George Lucas’ sequel trilogy plans.

Another canceled project was a Darth Maul video game, tentatively titled Battle of the Sith Lords. Because Darth Talon lived over 130 years after Return of the Jedi In the Expanded Universe, Lucas suggested that the main character could be Maul’s clone or descendant. Maul would have teamed up with Talon to fight Darth Krayt and the One SithWho violated the rule of two by having an army of Sith lords. Considering as persistent George Lucas Was in using Darth Talon, perhaps she will eventually make her debut in Star Wars Canon, even if not in a sequel trilogy.
