The Stephen King series that was removed from streaming is now available to watch again on a different service

A science fiction thriller Stephen King the adaptation is now available to stream after being removed from another platform. In film and television, there are a number of King adaptations that have been announced and are in various stages of development. In the immediate term, however, and on the big screen, there are three projects to watch: Monkey Mandirected by Long legs director Osgood Perkins, by Edgar Wright The running man starring Glen Powell and Francis Lawrence The long walk. The first two films are scheduled for 2025, while the third has no date.

There are also Welcome to Derrythe television adaptation of This films, which will bring back Bill Skarsgård in the role of Pennywise. It was also recently announced that King’s seminal novel, Carriewould be adapted by The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass creator Mike Flanagan. But a well-received sci-fi thriller may be getting a second look from audiences after being added back to streaming.

According to Comicbook.comafter being removed from Hulu months earlier, the miniseries 22.11.63 is now available to stream for free on Tubi. The series, based on King’s 2011 novel, is a mix of science fiction and thrills that incorporates time travel. It’s notable for being one of Hulu’s first originals, although it now has a new home.

Tubi is an ad-supported streaming service launched in 2014.

With a cast that includes James Franco, Chris Cooper, Sarah Gadon, Cherry Jones, Lucy Fry, George MacKay, Daniel Webber, TR Knight. Kevin J. O’Connor and Josh Duhamel, 22.11.63 consists of eight episodes. The story focuses on Franco’s character, a high school teacher named Jake, who Go back in time in an attempt to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He is aided by a mad scientist, played by Cooper.

Comments from 22.11.63 were largely positivewith some reservations. Although some critics cited the show’s pacing and presentation issues, it was also argued that the time-hopping thriller ultimately proved more compelling. Kevin Yeoman’s review of 22.11.63 to Screen speech noted at the time that the show “comes to an end with an ending that seeks emotional satisfaction.”

Between King and JJ Abrams’ involvement through their production company Bad Robot and not to mention the community obsessed with JFK’s assassination, 22.11.63 it may be proofread. Now that it’s streaming for free, it’s a good time to check out what has been a solid series.
