In the new Sims 4 expansion, Life and Deathplayers can explore what happens when Sims die and after they die, with many festivals and new events. Each of these new additions will give players something to celebrate and change their Sims’ mood. If you want to know everything new that you can do in this pack, keep reading to discover everything.
With this new expansion pack in Sims 4there are many things to explore. This package looks into your Sims’ lives in a new wayasking them to live a fuller life while they are alive and to continue to live after they die. There’s even a new way to undergo a renaissance to allow your Sims to have a new life even after it seems like the end.
All events in Ravenwood
New ways for the living and the dead to interact
The main new event at Ravenwood in Life and Death package is the Funeral. This event is something you can plan for your Sims, being able to choose who can attend and who is the Deceased. There are many customization options for the Funeral event, with over 14 different activities to choose from. You can also choose the place and time you want to do it.
Because of this, the Funerals will be unique each time they are performedand you can even choose the Dress Code and the specific color that each guest must wear. The Ghost of the Deceased may even appear, which will make the event even more exciting. There are now other ways to honor the deceased in Sims 4but the funeral event will be the most fun.
However, there are are some other events you should know. Some of these events happen quite frequently and you can get useful information and items from some of them.

Try it before you die Selling coffins
This is also a recurring event most days of the week, occurring on downtown Crow’s Crossing. There will be coffins for you to examine and you can test them out to see which one is right for your Sims. The main supplier will be dressed as the Businesspersonand you can try to negotiate a cheaper price for your favorite coffin.
Life after death Anonymous
This is a Festival where Sims can get some comfort for your recent problems. Whether they’ve suffered a loss or have recently entered the afterlife, they’ll be able to get some support from the rest of the Sims. Each Sim will be able to share their stories and what led them to this support group.
Both ghosts and the living often attend at these meetings, and you can also find some light snacks at these meetings. If you want to get there, you’ll have to find Club Eternity and then travel to the ruins from there.
Celebration of Life at Travessia do Corvo
This happens close to City hall. It’s a lot like the funeral event you might plan, but it happens three times a week in the park. This won’t be something that will interest your Sims who haven’t experienced death. However, if they have recently experienced a death, they You can make a dedication to your loved one.
Notably, if you know a ghostyou can also make a dedication. Sims can now befriend ghosts, like the Afterlife Anonymous group, and anything you can do for a deceased loved one in the game, you can also do it for the ghosts who makes friends with you.
The moon’s revelry
Moon Revelry Festival happens every night and takes place in a small celebration area in Whispering Glen. Still, there are a good number of activities as your Sims can Take a moon bath, swim at night or dance around the campfire. This can also lead to some relationship problems, giving you plenty of reason to plan your party attendance.
Additionally, you can rummage through some piles of dirt around the festival area. This will allow you to find tarot cards, another new item you can unlock by searching for individual cards. Build a complete deck exploring all of Ravenwood’s neighborhoods to get a special reading every morning.

There are also plenty of new festivals for your Sim to enjoy that are sure to affect your Sims’ mood and how they feel during the rest of the week. There are about 2 main festivals that players will want to watch, each taking place on different days of the week on Life and Death pack at specific times.

To better understand each Festival, they are divided into each section below:
Diluted Festive
This is a Festival once a week that you can participate in the Guardian Tree. There is a side quest associated with this Festival, which is all about the tree itself. Sims can participate by bringing gifts to the Guardian Tree and trying to figure out why the tree isn’t behaving as it should. For those curious, you can also find out more about the Reaper’s career in this Festival. Interact with the Grimterns, which are Sims dressed in Grim costumes. They will tell you about their career and offer to play a game of chance with you. There is also a Tarot reader present if you want to get a reading of your cards.
Ravenwood Family Day
Ravenwood Family Day is all about taking care of what happens to your things after you die. One Inheritance lawyer is present and will help you draw up your will at this Festival, and then you can decide who gets what. However, while you are writing your will, younger Sims can play on the playground, interact with specters, hunt frogs or have a picnic in the park.
If you want a pet crow, the Crow Manipulator will also be present at this Festival.
