The Rise of Skywalker Will Expand With New Content After 5 Long Years

The Marvel line Star Wars comics are coming back to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with the long-awaited adaptation of the ninth chapter of the space opera, which will include additional scenes that did not make it into the film. Originally scheduled to debut in May 2020 the question of the five Rise of Skywalker the series has finally arrived and promises to be “no common recount“from the film.

As revealed by GamesRadar, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – written for the comics page by Jody Houser, with art by Will Sliney – promises exclusive and never-before-seen content, especially scenes missing from the final version of the film.

The long wait for the ‘paper and ink’ version of the story will finally end with the series’ debut in February 2025. As GamesRadar explained, the delay was yet another inconvenience caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic. In this specific case, it led to supply chain and scheduling issues that led to an extended pause in production on the adaptation.
