Regular Program is returning with a new series, and the series' best episodes have already proven that Mordecai and Rigby can be revisited, despite how great the Season 8 finale was. Given Regular ProgramIn the perfect series finale, it can be difficult to accept that a new project is happening. However, not only is Regular Program one of Cartoon Network's most important IPs, but the series is also full of great characters that could be revisited in some way.
It is not clear what this new Regular Program will bealthough Mark Hamill has indicated he will return as Skips. Varietywho broke the news about Regular ProgramThe reboot mentioned that this new series would likely include new and returning characters. Since then, there have been many rumors that the new series will be called Regular Program: The Lost Casesuggesting it could be made up of self-contained stories set at any point in the original show's timeline.
The Regular Show's Best Episodes Are Standalone Stories
The regular program does not need to worry about continuity
Regular Program There are some episodes that can be considered “relevant to the plot”, as in the episodes after which the show's status quo changes. This includes, for example, whenever Mordecai's love life is the focus of an episode. Thomas’ true nature and Rigby’s return to high school are other examples of “essential.” Regular Program moments that affected the show's canon. Not to mention the events of Regular Program from season 7 onwards, during which most episodes are part of a larger story involving Pops' secret origins and fate of existence.

However, as much fun as Regular ProgramThe last two seasons have been, most of the series' best episodes stand alone. No one was tuning in Regular Program for continuity or overarching stories but rather for the bizarre and unpredictable adventures that Mordecai, Rigby and the rest of the crew would get involved in. Regular ProgramThe anthology episodes, particularly the Halloween ones, were also among the show's best. Majority Regular Program The episodes work for those who have never watched the series or don't know which season they are watching. That's why a reboot of the anthology would be a great idea.
How the Lost Tapes Could Be the Show's Perfect Regular Reboot
Regular Show Reboot Should Be a Collection of Untold Stories
What exactly Regular ProgramThe new series has not yet been announced, and even the title “Lost Tapes” has not yet been confirmed. That being said, the best and most logical approach to a new Regular Program It would be a collection of untold stories – “lost tapes” – set before the crew went into space. The new series wouldn't need to worry too much about timeline or continuity, focusing on telling the best and most hilarious stories possible with these characters.
Countless stories can be told before the events of Season 7, including adventures set before Regular Programpilot episode. An anthology show could also focus on characters that never shined in the original show, like Hi Five Ghost and Eileen, or even introduce new characters. Majority Regular Program Either way, the episodes were self-contained stories and there's no reason to change that now, even if it's for a whole new series. Regular Program I can't really look to the future after the Season 8 finale, but looking to the past is always an option.
