The Married At First Sight Season 18 Cast Lied to the Experts (They’re Setting the MAFS Experts Up for Failure)

Married at first sight season 18 is just beginning, but the cast already lied to the MAFS experts about your willingness to open up to new experiencessetting up the expert panel to fail. While Married at first sight season 18 just started, cast members were introduced weeks before the season began. As viewers had the opportunity to get to know the cast members and understand where they were coming from in their MAFS experiences, many felt they got to see more of the cast than in previous MAFS seasons.

With some additional knowledge about the MAFS season 18 contestants, including their backgrounds and what they hoped to get out of the show, it was disappointing in the first few episodes to see some cast members backtracking on their open attitudes. Despite knowing that Married at first sight experts, consisting of Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec and Pastor Cal Roberson, can only use the information they receive to match people, the cast is going through difficult times. Although this is typical for MAFS cast members, this cast is finding everything more difficult than usual.

While participants are always hopeful of instantly connecting with their program partners, that’s rarely the case.

They’re Quickly Judging Their MAFS Spouses

Although Married at first sight season 18 is just getting started, it’s clear that several of the MAFS couples are not interested in their matches after marriage. Mostly, this attitude seems to come from Michelle Tomblin, who is having a hard time with her MAFS husband David Trimble’s living situation. Michelle, an extremely independent woman who has progressed in her career, is not happy that David seems to have a lower level of ambition and lives with his parents.

Although Michelle and David seem to have the worst case of cast remorse, there are others MAFS Season 18 cast members who don’t seem pleased with their departures. Camille Parsons and Karla Jarez seemed to have difficulty connecting with their peers post-marriage, while Madison Myers consistently contradicted herself throughout the MAFS process. However could be some nervousness pushing the MAFS brides to be regretfulIt is difficult to observe their dissatisfaction.

Although participants may be struggling with finding themselves suddenly married to a stranger, the MAFS experts worked hard to match them with people they could align with and connect with. While participants are always hopeful of instantly connecting with their partners on the show, this rarely happens and furthermore, it cannot happen if they are not honest about themselves with the experts. Participants’ hasty judgments and remorse come from dissatisfaction surrounding things they did not share with experts in advance. The spectacle experts can only use the information they receive to make MAFS matches.
