This causes Mark to call out Cecil's hypocrisy, with him using assassins like Sinclair and Darkwing while wanting to arrest murderous heroes like Man-Wolf. That's when Mark really decides to go rogue, helping Man-Wolf escape the GDA. Cecil doesn't like this, further worsening the conflict between the GDA and Invincible.
Invincible's third season already needs to make a big change to Cecil's story from the comics
