Secret level Executive producers Tim Miller and Dave Wilson teased possible Season 2 games and what they'd like to see in the anthology's future. At the time of writing, eight episodes have been released, with plans for the remaining seven to be released on December 17, 2024. The show follows Prime Video's successful adaptation of Precipitation earlier this year, marking a new era of game adaptations for the streaming platform.

Talking to Screen speechLiam Crowley, Miller and Wilson discussed their ideas for a potential Secret level Season 2 Explaining What Games They'd Like to Bring to the Anthology Series. Wilson mentioned a possible episode about Pongwith Miller adding that it could be “equally disturbing“like the single show Pac-Man episode. Crowley also suggested a potential Fortnite episode, to which the executive producers were receptive. Check out what Miller and Wilson had to say below:

Liam Crowley: I think you're safe based on this show. I know some properties were left on the cutting room floor. When season two comes around, because I know this thing is going to be greenlit for more, what's the one you want to make sure gets cut?

Tim Miller: Man, there are so many. There are so many.

David Wilson: What I know I want to do is, if we can figure out a way, the kind of granddaddy of all video games, we need to find a way to make a Pong episode. I don't know what will be-

Tim Miller: But it could be just as disturbing as Pac-Man.

Liam Crowley: I'm just hoping for an episode of Fortnite. Maybe we can resolve this later. The tradition is extensive.

Tim Miller: It's like the Moby Dick of video games.

David Wilson: We love these guys. We work a lot with them.

What Miller & Wilson's Statement Means for the Future of Secret Level

The duo has ideas about how to incorporate other games

Miller created both Secret level and Love, Death and Robotsan ongoing anthology series at Netflix for which season 4 is currently in development. His track record proves that if he and Wilson have strong ideas about where to take their video game series, more episodes could follow in the future. Because its ideas can be drawn from decades of gaming history, anything from Pong to Fortnite it is possible. As they already included Epic Games Unreal Tournament opens the door to its popular Battle Royale, while PongThe story makes it equally viable.

Your adaptations can also be very different from the source material, with Secret levelThe Pac-Man episode offers a dark and twisted take on the classic maze game. Because the presentation of any franchise can be incredibly unique, opens the door for any game to get its own exploration through a unique lens thanks to the anthology series. If a second season happens, the dozens to hundreds of potential games that could be adapted would allow for many different interpretations that push the boundaries of the source material.
