The first game releasing on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 may have just been revealed

A recent leak may have revealed one of the first Nintendo Switch 2 Games to be released. This information was revealed in a massive Nintendo leak earlier this week, which revealed a mountain of information about what the company is working on. Although the leak comes from a reputable source, as always it is important to take things with a grain of salt.

According to the leak, reported by comic book, Nintendo is working on bringing the next generation of Pokemon to both the Switch and Switch 2. Based on information uncovered by Necrolip And CentroLeaks On X, Gamefreak is currently working on the Gen 10 Pokemon games under the codename Gaia, and is testing them on both generations of the console.

Pokemon is currently up to its ninth generation, with games stretching all the way back to the original Red and Blue in 1996. Gamefreak releases a new generation of Pokemon every three years or so, and pokemon scarlet and violet, The current gen is out in 2022.

Look at all the information, we can infer that Gen 10 will be ready for release around 2025, right in time for the Switch 2 to come out, too. We predict that the game will be a launch title for the Switch 2. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released a few months before the Gen 9 titles, so we could also expect to see the recently announced ones Pokemon Legends: ZA Arriving on the current Switch very early in 2025.

Pokemon is a huge draw for Nintendo, so it makes sense for the company to use the next one Pokemon titles to draw fans to the new Nintendo Switch 2. It’s also reassuring, however, that the latest leaks show that Nintendo is still working on the current Switch for its upcoming Pokemon Title.
