PachinkoThe fourth episode does not reveal the identity of the person who burned the rice shed, but there are several potential culprits. Although it would not be a wise business decision, Hansu may have destroyed the rice shed in his anger and as a means of getting back at Sunja for denying his advances. The foreman who was beaten by Hansu also has a strong motive. In the end, Noah, upset by what he witnessed Hansu doing to the foreman, was able to start the fire, perhaps hoping that his family could leave the rice fields – and Hansu – behind.
