A Doctor Who Companion’s adventures always have an end, but sometimes clues to how they end are hidden in plain sight. This is true for Doctor Who Companion Clara Oswald, whose impossible mystery captivated the audience, and the Doctor, for two and a half seasons. As a two-Doctor companion, Clara left during Peter Capaldi’s run, but the show was leading up to her dramatic finale before Matt Smith left Doctor Who.
