Two cast members of The Dark Knight Rises Enjoyed a Sony’s Spider-Man Universe reunion on the panel for Venom: The Last Dance At this year’s New York Comic-Con. The Dark Knight Rises was the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, released in 2012. It featured Tom Hardy’s Bane as the cunning villain, vastly improving on the character’s last live-action adaptation in Batman and RobinWhile Anne Hathaway gave a standard setting performance as Selina Kyle. Juno Temple, meanwhile, played a minor role as Kyle’s friend and roommate, Jen.
Tom Hardy and Juno Temple also starred Venom: The Last DanceAnd when host Josh Horowitz brought up the fact that the panel was a reunion for the two Batman franchise actors, Temple told Hardy “You wouldn’t remember because we didn’t work together.“Juno Temple describes Dr. Paine in Venom: The Last DanceWhat could be an adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Dr. Payne – a sadistic doctor and enemy of Eddie Brock. This presumably means that the two will share screen time together, as Temple’s Dr. Payne works alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character to Hunt Venom on the ground.
Jen and Bane shared no scenes in The Dark Knight Rises
Tom Hardy has the unenviable task of becoming the next arch villain in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, following Heath Ledger’s iconic Joker in The Dark Knight. He did, however, play an excellent version of Bane, with a more comically accurate portrayal of his intelligence and hulking physicality. Juno Temple’s Jen, meanwhile, operates as a petty thief alongside Catwoman, jumping at any opportunity to extort valuables from Gotham’s elite. Like Selina Kyle, Jen isn’t so much a villain as a morally gray rogue.
Tom Hardy’s Bane shared a lot of screen time with Christian Bale’s Batman, which stands to reason because he was the main antagonist. Juno Temple’s Jen, meanwhile, was closest to Selina Kyle as her partner in crime, though it didn’t appear in half as many scenes. That meant that Jen and Bane didn’t interact at all The Dark Knight RisesWith Jen’s penchant for petty theft, which leaves her little reason to share a scene with the ideological and rigid train. Jen, however, seems to be enjoying the fruits of Bane’s temporary takeover of Gotham and its newfound lawlessness.
It is not uncommon for actors to never cross paths in the same movie
Assuming the two will share some antagonistic screen time together Venom: The Last DanceIt will be great to see Temple and Hardy interacting as both are exceptionally talented actors. yet, It would have felt a little out of place for them to have interacted in The Dark Knight Rises. Granted Venom: The Last Dance Could be where Eddie Brock dies, this could be the last time we get to see them interact.
It shows how sprawling the blockbuster was and suggests that Hardy, despite being a major character, did not work with many other actors in the movie.
It is not uncommon for two actors who starred in the same movie to never cross paths. Elizabeth Olsen, for example, claims she never met John Krasinski, despite the two apparently sharing a scene in the MCU Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It shows how sprawling the blockbuster was and suggests that Hardy, despite being a major character, did not work with many other actors in the movie. This seems less likely in Venom: The Last DanceGiven the nature of Dr. Paine and Venom’s relationship.
Venom 3 is the third and final installment in Sony’s symbiote trilogy starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. It follows the events of Let There Be Carnage, where the anti-hero fought serial killer Cletus Kasady, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Brock was briefly transported to the MCU via the multiverse.
