Mark got a major storyline of his own in the latter half of season 6, while Roseanne's follow-up wrote out several other supporting stars entirely. That would be a shame since, although Harris' story isn't The Conners And Roseannes saddest character arc, it's a meandering and uneven plot that deserves a fitting ending rather than a rushed sendoff.

If Kenny's character is going to be a major player during the rest of the show, it's very early for her to have already finished filming. Harris' season 6 character arc has been frustrating since it started strong but went nowhere after a good start. This would make sense because she may not be able to afford rent in the city itself, meaning she may need to commute to her job at the lunchbox. This would massively impact Harris' screen time, as her scenes in the restaurant only make up about half of her role on the show.

Her gradual growth from an underwritten stereotype of Z to a tough, daring, yet incredibly flawed character has been a rewarding journey for viewers, and the payoff of her growth may have been cut short by her early exit from the spinoff.

The Conners Needs to give many characters a proper sendoff, so it makes sense for the show to short-change some supporting cast members. However, as Darlene's daughter, Roseanne's granddaughter, and the new owner of Jackie's restaurant, Harris could not be more central to the titular family. how so The Conners Must ensure that Harris gets a tough ending from her first Roseanne's spin-off wraps up, even if her farewell may arrive a few episodes earlier than expected.
