The Boys Secretly Introduced A Super Who Is Stronger Than Homelander, And He Should Be On Everyone's Radar

Notice! Minor spoilers ahead for The Boys!As strong as Homelander Yeah, there's a much more powerful Supe that never appears in The boys. The unhinged leader of the Seven may be a danger to the world, but a footnote discovered by Wee Hughie reveals the existence of an even more powerful threat that may still be out there.

In The boys #40 by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Hughie is searching for information about the world's Supes in the Vought-American archives to discover their origins and possible weaknesses. During the search, Hughie comes across information from Vought about a supervillain known as Galaxius.

Wee Hughie Discovers the Galaxius Boys

Galaxius is an enemy of The boys face Mister Fantastic, Reacher Dick, and according to the files, there is only one protocol for 'dealing' with him. The only way to defeat The boys Galactus' supposed, unseen riff is for Reacher Dick to reach out far enough to sexually satisfy Galaxius.

The boys There's a Galactus and there's no way to defeat him

Homelander at least had Black Noir to fight him

The boys is a satirical take on the superhero genre and lampoons almost everything about superhero storytelling. In this world, the heroes (or Supes, as they are known) are not the beefy heroes found in Marvel or DC Comics; they are selfish jerks at best and amoral criminals at worst. But these heroes have the support of Vought-American, the conglomerate that helped bring Supes into the world. To make your creations look even more fantastic, they released comics full of lies about the Supes, making it seem like they actually lived adventurous lives and battles with dangerous supervillains.

Hughie's discovery of Galaxius is interesting and raises many questions. All Supers in The boys universe are created by Vought-American and none of them have genuine superhero origins. Therefore, Galaxius is not a personification of entropy like Galactus. However, Galaxius appears to be equally indomitable, as the only listed protocol for defeating him is to engage sexually with him rather than killing or disarming him through other means. Even Homelander, considered the pinnacle of Supe The boys universe, is not considered as a possible means of overthrowing Galaxius.

A Supe more powerful than Homelander is a missed opportunity

Galaxius is real, but his story wasn't meant to be

Black Noir, Homelander, The Deep and Jack of Jupiter in the comic book The Boys.

It can be argued that Galaxius was not real and that it was just a story invented by Vought-American like so many other fictions they have generated. But Hughie discovered this in the conglomerate's files, so yes, Galaxis is a real Supe (or some other powerful being) and, unlike Homelander, Vought-American had no way of killing him if necessary. This is an intriguing idea that, unfortunately, is never explored in the series. But given the frankly disgusting contingency plan for dealing with Galaxius, it's probably best that readers never saw that midget Supe The boys Homelander in power.
