Goodman’s vision for the story was never realized, although he indicated an interest in reviving the show if the opportunity arose. However, some of the characters were shifted around, with the Flash, Green Lantern (John Stewart), Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl being swapped out.

The movie received largely positive reviews despite being only dubious canon to the DCAU, and it’s a worthy film for audiences who want more of their favorite characters.
