Artist Marcelo Millicay – known for his work in Lost Domain and Legacies of the DCAU–went to X and Instagram to celebrate the official launch of Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval Absolute Superman #1 with her own stunning version of Justice League’s Trinity, featuring her newly debuted Absolute Universe revamps.
What makes this work of art stand out is not only the inclusion of Absolute Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman, but the reimagining of them in the iconic and beloved style of the DC Animated Universe. While it’s not official DC art, the piece is sure to leave fans wishing it were so.
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman debut as the “Absolute Justice League” in Fanart inspired by DCAU

Display cases of Millicay’s artwork Wonder Woman front and center, flanked by Superman and Batman, with all three sporting their distinctive Absolute Universe redesigns that differentiate them from their Prime Earth counterparts. Superman features longer, wilder hair, paired with an updated costume that includes lava-infused details that accentuate his hips and wrists. Your new “S” The shield is bolder and thicker, with sharp edges that contrast sharply with the Earth-Prime logo. Wonder Woman, meanwhile, shows off her Absolute redesign, wearing red, black, and silver armor, a blood-red tattooed arm sleeve, and wielding an enormous longsword.
Additionally, Millicay’s depiction of Batman is equally impressive, with the Dark Knight towering over Wonder Woman and Superman, a signature element of his Absolute Universe design. His longer bat ears, studded shoulder pads, and massive brick-shaped bat logo on his chest further distinguish this version of Batman. However, it raises the question of whether this talented artist will continue to bless fans with more DCAU-inspired Absolute art as additional characters and members of the Justice League make their debut in the Absolute Universe. For example, DC has already confirmed that Martian Manhunter, Flash, and Green Lantern will each receive their own Absolute titles, making it even more exciting to imagine these characters coming together Wonder Woman, Batmanand Superman in Millicay’s epic Absolute Justice League.
