Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now streaming on Netflix after breaking the Rotten Tomatoes franchise’s big record. Last Bad boys The film reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami cops Mike and Marcus, who are forced to go on the run when they are framed by corrupt forces in their department. The series has come a long way since 1995: the original film had a modest budget, making Smith a movie star and launching the career of a certain director named Michael Bay.
Almost 30 years later, Bad Boys: Death Ride grossed $404 million worldwideproving that the series is more popular than ever. This is all the more impressive considering that there was a 17-year gap between the second and third recordings, but the love for the property never waned. Of course, it helped that the chemistry between Smith and Lawrence was still strong, and the saga never fails to straddle both comedy and action.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now streaming on Netflix – why you should watch it
The latest Bad Boys is one of the biggest box office hits of 2024.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die appearing on Netflix will give the handful of people who missed it on the big screen the chance to finally see a sequel to the hit film. It should be noted that the film is not an innovation in the genre and does not present any surprises; Bad Boys: Ride or Die The mission of the project is to become a real explosion for both fans and newcomers. Following the darker tone of the third entry, Ride or die I’m leaning towards comedy and really gives Martin Lawrence a chance to play the role of Marcus.

Smith does a great job playing the straight man in the duo, but he also handles the action side of the story. Bad Boys: Ride or Die the cast also introduces some newcomers, with Eric Dane having a lot of fun as the enigmatic villain. Although the tone of this fourth installment is sillier, it contains the emotional thread of the “bad guys” trying to clear the name of the late Captain Howard. (Joe Pantoliano).
Adil and Bilall always keep Bad Boys: Ride or Die moving, staging both comic and combat scenery with aplomb…
This is further complicated by the fact that Mike’s own son Armando (Jacob Scipio) pulled the trigger, with the latter having to earn some redemption when he joins Mike and Marcus on their quest. Adil and Bilall always keep Ride or die moving, staging both comic and action set pieces with aplomb, including inventive camerawork and creative use of drone photography. The directing duo may lack the visual flair that Bay brought to the series, but they still bring a ton of energy to their film.
Maybe the’s the most remarkable thing about Bad Boys: Ride or Die is that even after four films the series still seems fresh. There’s nothing jaded or cynical about it, and it’s clear that everyone involved is having a great time. The story can rightfully be criticized for its predictable twists and turns, and a subplot involving Howard’s vengeful daughter Judy (Rhea Seehorn) feels poorly woven into the central narrative. Still, Bad Boys: Ride or Die is almost guaranteed to delight and entertain Netflix audiences.
“The film can be funny at times and even goofy at times, but the filmmakers don’t let those moments linger too long before moving on. The pacing is sharp and smooth, but leaves moments for relationships to flourish. It’s not just a fast-paced, action-packed film; Ride or Die has the heart and style to go along with it. I often found it satisfying to just watch Marcus and Mike poke fun at Marcus’s love of candy while I got to watch them fight the villain McGrath (Eric Dane). Sometimes the former was more satisfying than the latter..” – May AbdulbakiScreen Rant’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die review

Ride or die ending doesn’t create another entry though As Mike and Marcus approach retirement age, the next sequel will explore what life looks like for them without their badges.. If the fourth entry really turns out to be the end, it will leave the duo in a good position. It’s rare that the final entry in any long-running series ends on a strong note, but Bad Boys: Ride or Die RT’s audience estimates suggest that perhaps now is the time to take stock.
