NBCUniversal Peacock It's earned a reputation as the streaming service of choice for hit sitcoms, and the programming just keeps getting better. In January 2025, Peacock brings the second season of Love Island and the new limited series Lockerbie: the search for truth starring Colin Firth, based on the 2021 book by Jim Swire and Peter Biddulph The Lockerbie Bombing: A Father's Search for Justice. Also arriving at the end of January is the new third season of The traitors.
It's not just the original Peacock and the network's older series that viewers can watch on the streaming service. NBC Universal owns Peacock, so when a new series premieres on NBC, it appears on Peacock after that. In January, Peacock will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Saturday night live with an original four-part series, SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night. There's big news about the future of WWE programming on Peacock. WWE just signed a 10-year deal with Netflix and will likely pull its programming from Peacock in 2026.
