The annual Steam The Game of the Year winners have been announced, and the winner of the esteemed 2024 Game of the Year award is Dark Myth: Wukong. Wukong was also nominated for Game of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards in November, but lost to Astro Bot. The title won a few other awards, including the Best Action Game and Player Voice awards, but ultimately failed to take home the ultimate title.
Now Dark Myth: Wukong can finally claim the prestigious GOTY title from the Steam Awards, the results of which were published on Steam website today. In addition to winning the Game of the Year award, Dark Myth: Wukong also won the Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award for its excellent storytelling and Best Game You Suck At Award for its relentless gameplay.
