Shin Megami Tensei 5: Revenge, a widely acclaimed 2024 RPG, finally has a demo available for anyone who wants to try the game for free. Although SMT5 was originally released on Switch in 2021, the Revenge redux brought the game to more platforms with added and revised content. However, as a long, story-driven game, it can still be a big commitment for newcomers.
As announced by developer ATLUS and featured in a trailer available on ATLUS West Official YouTube channel, the Shin Megami Tensei 5: Revenge demo continues after a free DLC update for the game released on November 4th. Progress from the demo will carry over to the full game if players decide to purchase the base game and continue the story they started in the demo.
The demo allows players to choose between Revengethe new story titled “Canon of Vengeance” and the original SMT5 story “Canon of Creation”. It can be accessed on both Steam and the PlayStation Store.
