THE Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for a big 2025, and there will be some exciting stories that offer a wide variety of new and returning characters and elements to the franchise. Three cinematic entries should help Marvel make some noise at the box office, but the upcoming MCU films are far from the studio's only outings in 2025. There will be nine Marvel Studios projects in 2025with six of them coming from Disney+. Between live-action series and animated shows, Marvel will have a complete dish for MCU TV fans. Many of these films and series could become part of the MCU's best projects, as they will offer exciting stories.

Daredevil: Born Again (March 4, 2025)

First comes the return of one of Marvel's best live-action series. Rays* (May 2, 2025)

One of the main criticisms that the MCU suffered in the Multiverse Saga is related to the way the franchise introduced many characters, but left them scattered. Rays* comes as the perfect solution to this problem. The MCU film will unite main characters such as Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova and Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, as well as more obscure characters such as Hannah John-Kamen's Ghost and Olga Kurylenko's Taskmaster.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that Bucky Barnes will be the leader of the Thunderbolts.
