THE Power Rangers The universe was built on crossovers and cameos, many of which came out of nowhere and helped build a sense of continuity that made the show even better. When it comes to cameos in Power Rangersthere is a difference between the usual crossover episodes between the current and previous team, and cameos from legacy heroes. Almost every season has had a team-up episode featuring the previous one Power Rangers team, but not all seasons had guest appearances from other generations.
From 1993 to 1998, each Power Rangers show was part of the same overarching story that later became known as the Zordon Era. After Power Rangers in spacethe program started to have more autonomous series, which made the special appearances and crossover episodes very special. From the iconic Rangers appearing to help the younger generation to villains returning decades after their first appearance, Power Rangers knows how to make special appearances.

Kimberly and Jason in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie
Power Rangers Turbo Prequel Movie
Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie may not have been a great film, especially compared to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Moviebut at least it gave us a reunion we've all been waiting for since 1994. Amy Jo Johnson's Kimberly and Austin St. John's Jason appeared for a brief but significant role in the Turbo film, marking the first time the original Pink and Red Rangers have reunited since Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2nd season.

The original Red Ranger had already returned in Zeonow as the second Gold Ranger. Amy Jo Johnson, on the other hand, had been away from the franchise since Kimberly left the team in MMPR season 3. Seeing two of the original Power Rangers together and interacting with the current team of heroes was a dream come true, although Kimberly and Jason were brainwashed and had to fight their friends.

Justin in Power Rangers in Space
“True Blue to the rescue”
Although the decision to replace Rocky with a son in Power Rangers Turbo wasn't universally praised, it was good to see Justin appear in Power Rangers in space. Justin was the only one of the first Turbo Rangers will remain on the team after the new characters arrive, but he was the only one who didn't go to space at the end of the season. Not having Justin as part of the team Power Rangers in space It was the right decision, but that doesn't mean his cameo wasn't cool.
Justin was a member of the team until five minutes before the events of Power Rangers in spacefirst episode, which means it would have been weird not to recognize him in this new season, especially after the Rangers started visiting Earth more frequently. THE Turbo Blue Ranger showing up to save the day in “True Blue to the Rescue” was a welcome surprise and it was a fun episode.

Adam in Power Rangers in Space
“Always a chance”
One of the best Power Rangers episodes of all time, “Always a Chance” was more than just fanservice and used a nostalgic cameo to tell a beautiful story. Adam, the second Black Ranger, was the only MMPR Ranger will appear in Power Rangers in space. That alone made “Always a Chance” an instant classic, but the way Adam's return served Carlos' character development made it even better.

Adam was also the Zeo Green Ranger and the first Turbo Green Rangermeaning he was Carlos' predecessor and a mentor of sorts, if only for a short time. With Carlos now being the In space Black Ranger, it only made sense to bring Adam back with his MMPR colors. Adam's bravery in transforming into a damaged Power Coin inspired Carlos to keep fighting, leading to one of the best team-ups in the entire show.

The veteran Red Rangers in Power Rangers Wild Force
“Forever red”
Crossover episodes were nothing new for the series at the time Power Rangers Wild Force arrived, but “Forever Red” was much more than just the usual team-up episode. To celebrate Power Rangers'10th anniversary, “Forever Red” brought back most of the franchise's Red Rangers for an unforgettable crossover. In addition to Rocky, Jason's replacement in Powerful Morphineall of the Red Rangers were back for a mission led by Tommy Oliver and Andros.

Despite how incredible it was to see ten Red Rangers come together, what really made “Forever Red” a standout was how well each Ranger was written. Unlike many others Power Rangers intersections, “Forever Red” did not mischaracterize its heroes and wrote everyone as if they were in their original shows. This made the interactions between these Rangers, many of whom had never been in the same room with each other, even more fun.

Adam and Disney Era Rangers in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
“Once a Ranger”
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive It wasn't one of Disney's best seasons, but it gave us a unique crossover featuring a new team made up of five Rangers from five different seasons. Adam once again returned as the Powerful Morphine Black Ranger, this time teaming up with four Disney-era Rangers – Ninja StormIt's Tori, Dino ThunderIt's Kira, Mystic ForceXander, and SPD's Bridge.
“Always A Ranger” took many by surprise by having Bridge appear as the SPD Red Ranger, a role that belonged to Jack and Sky in Power Rangers SPD While it would make more sense to have Jack or Sky as Red in Operation Overdriveseeing four Disney Rangers teaming up with one MMPR icon was a lot of fun. Disney's seasons were mostly self-contained and self-containedand that's why this crossover was so important.

The legendary Rangers in Power Rangers Super Megaforce
“Legendary Battle”
Power Rangers Super Megastrength is often listed as one of the worst seasons of the series, mainly because of the potential it had compared to what it delivered. The failure of the “Legendary Battle”, a crossover that was supposed to honor 20 years of Power Rangersis the best example of this. Too short and full of inconsistencies, “Legendary Battle” did not live up to expectations configured by your Super Sentai counterpart.
That being said, seeing characters like Cassie, TJ, Leo, Dana and Carter back after years was excitingeven if for just a few very brief scenes. Power Rangers could have done a much better job with the “Legendary Battle”, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the returns of the characters from the 1990s and early 2000s were really cool.

Jason in Power Rangers Beast Morphers
“Connection to the network”
Power Rangers Beast Morphers was released at a time when the franchise had changed somewhat from the original MMPR characters, with only Tommy being a more recurring figure in crossovers and special seasons such as Dino Thunder. That's why seeing Jason back in his Red Ranger form in "Grid Connection" was so fun. It's been 16 years since the original Red Ranger last appeared on screenat least without the helmet.
Jason's role in “Grid Connection” was brief, although he did battle in a new version of the classic MMPR villain Goldar. “Grid Connection” was also a “dino crossover”, with Rangers from Powerful Morphine, Dino Thunderand Dino Charge everyone coming together. Although Jason's old team was technically therenone of them removed their helmets, meaning the original Red Ranger was the only suitable cameo.

Lord Zedd in Power Rangers Dino Fury
Multiple episodes
Lord Zedd was the main villain of Power Rangers Cosmic Furybut before that, he appeared in a few episodes of Power Rangers Dino Fury. Returning more than 20 years after his last appearance on the show, Lord Zedd elevated an already entertaining season and made Dino Fury in a legacy sequence of MMPR. While Dino Fury didn't worry much about how Zedd might come back after being purified by Z-Wave in 1998the classic Power Rangers Villain stole the show.
Zedd's return brought the show full circle, especially since he also returned in Cosmic Furywhich is currently the final entry into the Power Rangers chronology. Considering that Lord Zedd was technically the first villain of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - After all, Rita was working for her - seeing him back almost 30 years after his introduction on the original show was a great cameo.
2
Mick in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury
Multiple episodes
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury it was full of cameos and special returns including Billy Cranston. However, considering that the original Blue Ranger was a recurring character in the season, it would be unfair to label him as a cameo. Mick Kanick, on the other hand, was a fun surprise in Power Rangers season 30. Although Kelson Henderson was involved in the Power Rangers universe for years, Mick was arguably his best character in the franchise.
Ninja Steel it wasn't a great season, but Mick was a great supporting character. After appearing in an episode in Dino Furythe technological genius who solves all the problems that appeared in the initial battle of Cosmic Fury. With the help of the Morphin Masters, Mick was given powers and was able to transform into the Red Ninja Steel Ranger. He would make a few other appearances in the season and even joined the Rangers in battle twice.
1
Heckyl in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury
Multiple episodes
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury he bet everything with special appearances and even rescued the Power Ranger that never existed Dino Charge. Once a villain due to his evil alter ego taking over, Heckyl was written as a character who should become a Power Ranger. However, while there was a Super Sentai Heckyl's Ranger counterpart in a film, Dino Charge I couldn't use it on the show.
When the time comes Cosmic Fury happened, the Dark Ranger could finally be used in the American series. Not only did Cosmic Fury brought in Heckyl from another universe to help the Rangers against Lord Zedd, but also showed him as the Dark Ranger. Heckyl's role in Cosmic Fury It was brief, but at least it did Power Rangers The fans' wish came true.
