Junpei was being bullied and shunned by everyone else in his life and felt like he had no one to turn to when he found Yuji.
Yuji offered Junpei support, encouragement, laughter, and love that he had never felt from a friend before. The boys got along very well and everything would have been fine if Mahito hadn’t quickly destroyed Junpei’s lifeand her friendship with him. The evil Cursed Spirit transfigured Junpei into an unrecognizable form right in front of Yuji, a traumatizing act that Yuji was unable to reverse.

Choso and Yuji
After discovering they were related, Choso vowed to keep his younger half-brother safe.
Choso and Yuji were actually enemies before they came to an understanding. Yuji killed Choso’s brothers, Kechizu and Eso, and Choso swore to avenge their lives. Node Shibuya incident arc, Choso finally came face to face with Yuji and began violently attacking him in retaliation for Yuji’s previous violent act.
While fighting Yuji, Choso realized that Yuji was also his half-brother and immediately called a truce, unable to harm his own brother. From this moment on, Choso swore loyalty to Yuji and turned from evil to good, rebuilding a genuine friendship with his brother. Since Yuji is younger, Choso feels an instinctive need to protect his brother from danger, and this has created a sweet bond of love between the duo.

Gojo and Nanami
Opposites attract in Gojo and Nanami’s friendship; Their opposing personalities balance each other out
Gojo and Nanami have one of the most hilarious friendships ever. Jujutsu Kaisen because of how different their personalities are. Gojo is comical and loves pranks and light-hearted jokes, while Nanami is much more serious and stoic. The duo certainly butts heads and clashes at times, but deep down, they always have each other’s backs when it matters.
Gojo and Nanami studied at Jujutsu High together, so they have many years of shared history. Although they have had many disagreements, they fight well together. As two of the strongest sorcerers in the series, their high-level skills match perfectly and they respect each other despite their occasional differences.

Shoko and Gojo
Even after Geto’s departure, Shoko and Gojo remained close friends, supporting each other through various disasters.
Shoko Ieiri was the third member of the trio of Gojo and Geto in Jujutsu High, sharing many moments with them while attending school. Shoko does not fight on the battlefield and instead uses her technique for healing purposes behind the scenes. Although they don’t go on missions together, Shoko and Gojo have still managed to remain close over the years.
Even after Geto resorted to villainy and went off on his own, Shoko and Gojo remained good friends, processing the tragic loss of their friend together. When Gojo was imprisoned in the Prison Realm by Kenjaku, Shoko was devastated and uttered the words, “Come back, Gojo.” signifying his connection to the sorcerer. Although they are not always portrayed together on screen, the two care a lot about each other.

The famous trio of Nobara, Yuji and Megumi often steal the spotlight in Jujutsu Kaisen, but the iconic Kyoto Jujutsu High friend group of Maki, Panda, Yuta, and Toge is equally amazing. Each member of this group possesses exceptional talent, ranging from Cursed Speech to unparalleled physical strength. In addition to their skills, the group gets along very well and they constantly support and protect each other.
In the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event competition, the members of the group of friends worked as a teamrevealing how well they can collaborate. From Panda’s hysterical jokes to Maki’s sarcasm, each wizard brings something necessary and unique to the friendship. Although their personalities, powers, and attitudes are incredibly different, these second-year students constitute one of the Jujutsu Kaisen more united and loyal groups of friends.

Yuta and Rika
Not even death could separate Yuta and Rika, as she remained their friend like a cursed spirit
Yuta Okkotsu and Rika Orimoto are childhood best friends. Sadly, Rika died at a young age in a car accident. After death, she was reborn as a powerful Cursed Spirit who aids Yuta in battle, continuing her important role in Yuta’s story. Jujutsu Kaisen.
Rika is absolutely devoted to Yuta and is willing to fight anyone who dares lay a hand on him. Her dedication to her best friend is touching, and Yuta feels the same way about her, valuing the closeness between them. Possibly, he helped Rika’s soul break free so she could rest and no longer needed to take care of him, which was a touching act of love that reveals Yuta’s genuine care for her.

Yuji and Todo
These “siblings” may not be related by blood, but their bond is as close as a sibling relationship.
Contrary to what fans might think, Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo are not brothers, but hearing Todo talk, one might think they are. Everyone calls Yuji his brother, not because they are related by bloodbut because the bond between them is as sincere as the relationship between brothers. Yuji and Todo’s friendship formed suddenly when Todo proclaimed them as best friends.
Although their friendship seemed to appear instantly, the pair became one of the closest in Jujutsu Kaisen. In a Shibuya incident fight with Mahito, Todo encouraged his “brother”, Yuji, a lot. Without Todo’s words of support, Yuji would never have mustered the strength to defeat Mahito, showing how beneficial their friendship is to him.

This remarkable trio stands and protects each other during the toughest battles of Jujutsu Kaisen
A substantial amount of humor and happy scenes in Jujutsu Kaisen occur due to Yuji, Megumi and Nobara group of friends. The trio studies and trains together frequently, but also always makes time to shop, watch movies, and indulge in the fun experiences that regular teenagers enjoy. However, they are also always there for each other during the darkest moments that a jujutsu sorcerer brings.
Nobara’s death at Mahito’s hands completely crushed Megumi and Yuji emotionally. Furthermore, when Sukuna took over Megumi’s body, Yuji fought tirelessly to reclaim his friend’s body from the Cursed Spirit. Through thick and thin, this trio of friends stays together, whether they are laughing together or shedding tears.

Gojo and Geto
These once devoted best friends were separated by different ideals, but always had love for each other.
Jujutsu Kaisen The most beautiful, complex and moving friendship is, without a doubt, that of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru. Second season Hidden Inventory/Premature Death bow finally uncovered the bond between these two jujutsu sorcerers, and the details are quite devastating. The two studied together at Jujutsu High and became inseparable best friends, doing everything together.
As they grew older, their mindsets diverged and took them in completely different directions. Gojo wanted to continue exorcising Cursed Spirits, but Geto believed it would be better to act by killing non-sorcerers. These fundamental differences destroyed their friendship, and when Geto killed a village of people, it was the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. Even after all the heartbreak and conflict between them, Gojo still called Geto his “only friend” until the end of Geto’s life, proving the depth and strength of their bond in Jujutsu Kaisen.
