This versatile Vanguard is capable of dealing some of the highest damage in the game with the right combos and it can be even easier with the right team. Peni, Winter Solider, and Wolverine work best with him, as they each have some sort of tight crowd control that can make their isolation talents even better.
These types of combos can work well at any level, but they require better teamwork the better the competition. It is also incredibly flexible as only two, minimum, are needed for this work to work best. The other four points can be flexible for other characters to meet each player's needs or counter the other team.

The only caveat to this team is Hela, because if the person playing it can't get consistent kills, this team is essentially useless. Secondly, since bans occur at higher competitive levels, Hela is currently a near-constant ban. Without Hela, Thor and Loki become much more difficult to secure given the other options for the roles.

Even with its long waiting time, This portal can fight seemingly invincible fights or break through a reinforced defense. This is especially true when combined with DPS characters that can be easily countered.
Iron Man, Punisher and Scarlet Witch are some of the best combinations in this regard. The latter especially helps offset how defenseless Scarlet Witch is in her ultimate. The other two use the portal to attack from unsuspecting angles. While it's best for end use, Strange's portal can also be useful for characters like Hela, Hawkeye, or Black Widow to get safer angles.

Cloak & Dagger is a powerful and versatile support that is not the best choice because of how strong Mantis and Luna Snow are. However, pairing this duo with Luna Snow can create a devastating combo for the enemyand sustain for allies. Luna Snow is already an incredible character when it comes to healing, and with the right player, she can do well in combat. Meanwhile, the Cloak form is incredibly good at knocking back enemies and dealing damage, while Dagger can keep most targets alive.
The true power of this duo comes from their maximum. Cloak & Dagger can cover parts of the field with an effect that damages enemies and heals allies. The healing is so strong and fast that anything outside of a headshot Hawkeye will have a hard time killing anyone in it. Combining this with a well-timed Luna Snow ultimate, which essentially has 12 seconds of immunity, these two supports can make allies invincible in long teamfights.

Adam Warlock himself should not be ignored in the support position. He can deal solid damage and his ultimate rebirth can put up fights easily.
However, the downside to this combo is the Warlock itself. Its heals aren't as powerful as many of the other optionsand he can be killed more easily than most supports. In that sense, this combo, regardless of strength, is best chosen in specific positions where Warlock can shine best, especially in defensive modes, or the team playing it can snowball most fights to minimize damage.

In Marvel Rivalsteams are at their best when they have two supports, and there is no better duo than Mantis and Luna Snow. Both are capable healers, with the ability to deal a lot of damage while having access to stuns. However, true power comes from your maximumwhich can provide around 20 seconds of immunity to your teammates if used correctly.
This duo is the option that dominates all aspects of the competition Rivals. Some maps/modes have a little more flexibility that opens up to other characterslike Loki, who can replace any of them and just copy their ultimate with yours. This is helped by the fact that Iron Man can't be controlled without Hela or Hawkeye to blast him out of the sky.combined with a powerful kit that gets even stronger with the Hulk. Doctor Strange isn't crucial to this combo, but he can provide a steady force on the front lines and let Hulk jump in to cause chaos.
Essentially, there is no downside to using this combo, as it is relatively easy to get value from each character. This is combined with the bonus that the more experience someone has with any of the three, the stronger they will become in the long run. The only time this combo doesn't work is when Hulk is bannedwhich still leaves Strange as a viable choice, but Iron Man less so, as Hela or Hawkeye are in play.
Overall, it was impressive that Rivals managed to make all 33 on its list usable in some way. Of course, there are characters at the top who have a distinct advantage, but with enough experience, any of these powerful heroes can work at any skill level.
