Concept trailers have been around for a long time, and 2024 had some incredible examples of just how good they can be, presenting fun ideas about where Marvel and DC could take their properties next. Both superhero companies had a relatively good 2024. Deadpool and Wolverine broke all kinds of box office records for the MCU, while DC debuted The penguinwhich ended up being one of the best superhero shows to date.
Each of their respective universes also has a lot going for them in 2025 and beyond, as the MCU timeline continues to expand in all directions, while the DCU's first major project will be James Gunn's. Superman. With so many exciting projects coming up, fans decided to make some amazing concept trailers for many of them, imagining what they could be and also creating entirely new scenarios for what could have been.

Spider-Man 4: King in Black
Tom Holland's fourth film
Spider-Man 4 is set for release on July 24, 2026, with Tom Holland reprising the role of the titular character from his fourth solo Spidey film. Following Spider-Man: No Way Homemany speculated that Spider-Man 4 it would be a more grounded story for Peter Parker, while also keeping him as a street-level hero for a while. Now that Sony has introduced Knull into its own Spider-Man universe with the hopes that he can become a big bad, it's possible that Sony wants Marvel Studios to have a movie revolving around the two characters.
With this idea in mind, Screen culture created a trailer that shows what a potential conflict between Spider-Man and Knull could look like. One of the biggest aspects of the trailer is Spider-Man's black costume, which hasn't appeared in a live-action film since. Spider-Man 3 in 2007. It looks like Tom Holland will don the iconic costume in one of his films, and the inclusion of Tom Hardy's Venom in the trailer hints at how he could achieve it.

Blade of Mahershala Ali
It's time for his MCU debut
It seems like it was yesterday that Mahershala Ali has been announced as Blade in the MCU and a solo film for the character was in the works. However, it has been more than five years since the project was confirmed at San Diego Comic Con 2019. Since then, the film has gone through a tumultuous production, with several directors and screenwriters leaving at various times. With everything that's happened, it's unclear whether Ali will ever play the character in live-action, only lending his voice to a post-credits scene in Eternals.
Like many fans, KH Studio seems to have grown impatient with the wait for Mahershala Ali's Blade, taking it upon himself to show what his film could be like if it actually came out. Blade is a cool character, and the concept trailer does well to show the extent of his potential in the upcoming story, and Mahershala Ali's similar potential in the role. Hopefully Marvel Studios will be able to crack the code with the real Blade going forward and find an end result that potentially isn't too far from what the concept trailer promises.

Deadpool and Spider-Man
The two together are awesome
As some of the most talkative characters in Marvel Comics, fans love seeing Deadpool and Spider-Man interacting with each other, in hopes that someday the two will share the screen in the MCU. They fit together so well, and it's possible that the two of them will be able to defeat villains in truly new ways and with some truly funny one-liners. As such, It would be fantastic to see the characters working together in live-action someday.
Until then, video editor @thejulianbell posted a short clip on Instagram showing Ryan Reynold's Deadpool interacting with Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man during the final scene in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The scene is very funny, showing the comedy gold that can come from the union of the two.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Jensen Ackles is a great choice
Excitement skyrocketed after James Gunn announced that The brave and the bold it would be a future project for the new DCU. Speculation about who would play Batman began to spread, as Gunn said the film would feature Bruce Wayne having to take on the responsibility of being a father, with Damian Wayne making his first live-action appearance. Jensen Ackles has consistently been one of the names cited by fans to take on the role of Batman.
Jensen Ackles has long been a fan favorite to play Batman in live-action, having previously voiced Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood and Batman in DC's animated Tomorrowverse. KH Studio made a concept trailer that features Ackles as the character alongside rising star Timothy Chalamet as Damian Wayne. Of course, Jensen Ackles is a perfect fit as Batman, and the trailer shows a darker-than-ever look at the Caped Crusader, making the upcoming film even more exciting to think about.

The Flash: The Final Execution
Run Barry, run!
The Flash was one of the longest-running live-action superhero shows of all time, second only to Smallville's gigantic 10-season run. Despite having nine seasons, it seems that fans of The Flash couldn't get enough of Grant Gustin as the character, with many disappointed that he wasn't cast as the DCEU version of the character or even featured in The Flash starting in 2023, despite being a multiverse-hopping adventure.
The trailer really captures how great Grant Gustin has been as a character over the years.
Julian Bell decided to give Grant Gustin his own movie, showing all the iconic speedster action that fans loved during The Flash impressive race. The trailer really captures how great Grant Gustin has been as a character over the years, which is a big reason why the series has managed to last so long. Now that the Arrowverse is officially over, it's a shame that Grant Gustin probably won't play the character again.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3
But Andrew Garfield is always great
After the relatively poor box office performance of The Amazing Spider-Man 2Sony decided to forego a third film and eventually reboot the character in the MCU, leaving Andrew Garfield behind in the process. For years, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the last time fans saw Garfield as the webcrawler, but Spider-Man: No Way Home was able to bring him back into the fold alongside Tobey Maguire. Garfield's Spider-Man actually talked about what happened after losing Gwen, going berserk over the years, eventually not pulling his punches anymore.
KH Studio does a perfect job capturing that dark feeling The Amazing Spider-Man 3 could have provided, showing Peter Parker achieving the black suit and eventually fighting Tom Hardy's Venom. There has been a lot of speculation over the years that Garfield's Spider-Man is in the same universe as Hardy's Venom, and this trailer shows how cool it would be to see the two fight in a new Spider-Man led by Andrew Garfield. -Man movie.

Crisis on Infinite Earths
DC's biggest event
In the 1980s, DC changed comics forever with “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Over the years, there have been several adaptations of the iconic storyline, the most notable being the Arrowverse version, which brought back many familiar faces who had roles in DC adaptations over the years. It seemed like the DCEU might even be trying to build its own version of the story, which highlights how important it has consistently been for DC since it was released.
UltraSargent takes the Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” even furtherincluding characters from the DCEU, Christian Bale's Batman, Titansand much more. The concept trailer is epic in every sense of the word, showing just how grand the scope of the story is. Despite doing the best they could with the budgetary constraints the Arrowverse had, seeing this adaptation unfold as a huge blockbuster event would be incredible.

Hulk vs Wolverine
This fight needs to happen
Hulk and Wolverine have a long history in Marvel Comics, as Wolverine's first appearance was in a Hulk title, and the two characters fought. For a long time, it seemed like a live-action fight between the characters was impossible, but Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine shows that anything is possible. A variant of Jackman Wolverine in the film was briefly shown preparing to fight Hulk, setting the stage for the eventual fight in the MCU.
Julian Bell brings the concept to life in spectacular fashion, with Mark Ruffalo's Hulk facing off against Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds even makes a small appearance as Deadpool, everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth. It's an incredibly cool concept trailer, showing just how incredible the idea of the two fighting is. Hopefully having the Hulk and Wolverine battle at some point in the MCU should be high on the priority list for Marvel Studios, with Hugh Jackman and Mark Ruffalo's characters being the only ones to do so.

Avengers 2000
A Different Era of Marvel Heroes
When The Avengers was released in 2012, the film proved that multiple superhero properties could exist within the same universe and eventually come together to form something bigger than ever before. It marked a huge shift in the cinematic landscape and changed superhero movies forever. Before the MCU, Marvel superheroes were scattered far and wide, existing in their own separate universes.
Dr FlashPoint imagine what it would be like if the various Marvel properties of the 2000s converged togetherbecoming the Avengers long before Iron Man and company. Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Wesley Snipes' Blade, and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man are featured here, with even more characters appearing to round out the team, such as Ben Affleck's Daredevil, Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider, Eric Bana's Hulk, and Samuel L. . Jackson still rides them like Nick Fury. It's an incredible concept trailer, teasing fascinating ideas of what could have been.

Batman Beyond Animated
DC's Spider-Verse
After initially being created for the Batman Beyond animated series in 1999, Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond) became one of the greatest legacy characters in all of comic book media. Despite this, he has been left out of DC films and shows over the years. In early 2024, Spider-Verse production designer Yuhki Demers posted some concept art of a Batman Beyond pitch the film to WB in a similar style to Spider-Verse films.
Vehicle does an incredible job of taking this Batman Beyond conceptual art and imagining what it would look like in motion. The results are impressive, raising the question of why DC hasn't managed to bring back the character in any significant big-budget project since the series. The character has a distinct and compelling core concept, and seeing a cyberpunk Gotham in an animated style like this is what dreams are made of. This type of animation Batman Beyond film could be the answer CC needs to match what Wonder have in Spider-Verse franchise.
