The duel between Maul and Ahsoka is made even better because the original actor to portray Maul, Ray Park, has returned to provide the motion capture the animators used to develop the animation. This gave the duel a more realistic feel as the movements were created with real people and weren’t just generated from animation. Throughout the episode, the pair travel through some of Ahsoka’s memories, including the Siege of Mandalore. When Ahsoka admits that she still feels like her legacy is one of death and destruction, Anakin tells her she hasn’t learned anything and attacks her.
Anakin and Ahsoka’s duel is one for the ages, with Ahsoka managing to still best her former master even after being disarmed. More importantly, Ahsoka comes to terms with her past, and the role that Anakin and his darkness played in her. This change is noticed when Ahsoka eventually emerges as Ahsoka the White at the end of the episode. Although this list only encompasses a small number of Ahsoka Tanos most iconic moments, it will surely grow and change as the character makes more appearances in upcoming Star Wars Projects.
