A newly discovered Pal World mod takes everything players know about keeping their friends happy and prosperous and turns it upside down. Pal World was released in January of this year and quickly gained popularity as one of the best titles for creature collectors, alongside big names like Pokémon. The sea has been anything but calm for the developers at Pocketpair for a while now, but none of these waves have brought the title down as players still can't seem to get enough.
Found in Nexus Mods, the Mod "Full Sanity" created by Eld3rBrain It makes it much easier to manage your friends' happiness, work ethic, and mood on base. Boasting over 2 thousand downloads since its original upload on December 25th, it seems that fans have found the sanity saver quite useful so far.
Mod Palworld keeps friends happy and prosperous
Keep 'em sane, keep 'em working!
Friends are helpful little creatures that can complete tasks at the player's base to help maintain progress. Each friend has a set of special skills, such as farming, irrigation, mining, logging, and more, that can make gathering resources much easier. One mechanic that can hinder Pal's ability to work hard and remain happy is his Sanity level, and once exhausted, friends may become sick, bedridden, or even throw tantrums so frequently that they can barely work.
This mod takes all the guesswork out of Pals Sanity, meaning players won't need to craft medicine and multiple spas to keep things moving in the right direction. Various objectives revolve around crafting and reaching certain milestones, so being able to keep your base friends happy is extremely important. Most of the titles' features revolve around using friends, whether in battle, facilitating mining in the wild, or even gathering more friends to add to Palbox, and an unhappy friend can be a tough move. .
Our Take: Even with a rocky road, Palworld is still a smashing success
From lawsuits to bugs and more
On Palworld release, there were several concerns --- and even some accusations --- about the similarities between Pal World and the acclaimed franchise Pokémon. Using spherical objects to attract creatures seemed very reminiscent of what players would do in Pokemon, and Nintendo decided to take legal action against Pocketpair over several features of the game.
The Pocketpair developers ended up changing one of the game's main features, which initially left fans worried about the eventual outcome of the process, but at the time of writing this article, Pal World It's still going strong. After reaching an impressive 2.1 million concurrent player count at launch, Creature Collector has slowed down a bit according to SteamDB, but that doesn't take into account those playing off-platform. It will be interesting to see what happens with the process, but until then, players can manage their Pals' sanity and enjoy the new Feybreak content that has just been released.
