The developers of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot revealed even more details about the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA expansion. While news of new DLC revolving around the recently released anime isn’t new, the reveal of a release schedule and more has emerged.
First reported by GameRant, the next Dragon Ball DAIMA The DLC is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2025, although nothing specific in terms of a release date has been revealed at this time. This information was confirmed in a recent official X post Dragon Ball Games account, where they say fans should prepare to delve into the first part of the Demon Realm.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Daima DLC is important for several reasons
Fans seem excited about this reveal
Just a few months ago, it was revealed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot would receive a DLC based on the new anime, Dragon Ball DAIMA, which first aired on October 11. Goku and his familiar friends have been reduced to the size of children due to some strange conspiracy. and are left on an adventure through the unknown Demon Realm to resolve the issues at hand.
Initially, Akira Toriyama wouldn’t give any opinions on the latest anime series, but after throwing out a few ideas here and there, Toriyama ended up handling much of the story, design elements, and settings.. This means that the next DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the DAIMA series are the final works Toriyama created before his tragic passing in March 2024. While Toriyama didn’t work on this DLC content firsthand, he paved the way for DAIMA, and these designs, ideas and stories will shine in DBZ: Kakarot.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot Daima DLC could be the first of many based on the anime
Given the writing of “Part One,” there may be more to come
According to post X, or at least as some have speculated given the wording, It looks like this will be one of at least two parts of the DAIMA DLC. Fans seemed excited about this information, as the one passing DrLoveYT stated,
wait wait part ONE maann we are eating GOOD
While knowledge of a DAIMA DLC coming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot seems to have a lot of enthusiastic fans, some think the anime series should have its own RPG title, as commenter Bamalam says, “Daima needs its own really good RPG, but this is a start.” THE Dragon ball the franchise seems to continue growing with enormous success, as the recently released Dragon Ball: Spark! ZERO has made waves in recent months. Hopefully this franchise never dies, as gamers and fans alike can’t seem to get enough of Goku and friends getting into trouble.
