Disney is developing a live-action adaptation of its 2010 animated classic Tangledwith the studio reportedly in talks with The greatest showman director. The original Tangled followed the adventures of the Brothers Grimm's Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), a princess with magical golden hair who escapes her tower to discover the truth about her parents and her captor, while also teaming up with the charismatic thief Flynn Rider (Zachery Levi).
According to Deadline, Michael Gracey is in talks to direct the live-action film Tangled retelling. While plot details remain under wraps, the live-action version is expected to follow the plot of the animated film. Casting decisions have not yet been announced.
