one of Ark: Survival AscendedThe newest creatures are secretly overpowered while being found and tamed quite easily. Although ascended Is only a revamp of the original game, it has taken the opportunity to add a few new creatures through fan votes. Some of these are original, while others come from popular mods Arc editions. However, two of the new creatures come from paid mini-DLCs, bringing a different pace to the franchise.

Two other popular and cool modded dinosaurs from Arc editions are the Ceratosaurus and Xiphactinus. The Ceratosaurus is a powerful dino capable of inflicting poison on its targets. The targets can then be attacked by flesh-eating dinosaurs and heal them in the process. The Xiphactinus is a fearsome prehistoric tuna with a powerful bite that inflicts a crushing debuff. This is a more powerful version of the blood debuff that has a shorter duration.

The new king of the swamp

This prehistoric crocodile was released back in July to ASA And has surprisingly dominated the usually terrifying swamp biome ever since. It can do this due to its high health and attack power that rivals even the notorious Giganotosaurus. The counter to this is how slow the Deinosuchus is, though even that is somewhat mitigated by another ability. This reptile is capable of turning in place quickly, allowing it to protect against any blind spots.

Since the swamp is filled with dangers that have powerful attacks or poison, Deinosuchus is great for exploring them. Even outside of the swamps, the Deinosuchus had a role as a warrior. It may not be as well-rounded as other options, but it comes with the benefit of how easy they are to find and tame.

How to find and tame a Deinosuchus

Raising a crocodile army

Along with the fact that the Deinosuchus spawns so often, it can be quite cheap to tame when compared to the reward. It must be restrained passively, which induces some risk, but removes the need for narcotics to put it to sleep. The best food to feed it when its mouth is open is Superior Kibble, but any main or regular meat will work as well. Thus, with enough resources and time, one can have a whole army of one of Ark: Survival Ascendeds best dinosaurs.

Although the argument could be made that the Deinosuchus should at least be difficult to tame, it is amazing to have something easy to obtain to help with swamps. Swamps can hold some useful resources that make a survivor’s life easier, but they are really extremely dangerous until late game. With that in mind, anyone looking to explore the swamps should look to spot the new secretly overpowered Deinosuchus in Ark: Survival Ascended.
