Survival Ascended collaborates with franchises we’d love to see

With Ark: Ascended Survival Seeing a crossover with Power Rangers opens the door to a lot of potential collaborations. While AscendedThe Power Rangers crossover was visually pleasing, but overall it felt subpar. In general, introduced five exclusive skins for weapons, dinosaurs and playersalong with five new emotes. When considering the scale this could have achieved, it seems like a huge missed opportunity with a lackluster collaboration.

Fortunately, regardless of any collaboration, Ascended has done incredibly well. In addition to having a healthy player base, the game has been a huge financial success. This should bode well for the long-awaited sequel. Ark 2but the concern is the lack of news. Numerous delays have left it with a rumored late 2024 release datebut the chances of another delay are greater than most would like.

Palworld fits well and is viable

Two games with the same roots

One of the most popular indie titles of 2024, Pal World makes ideal sense for a Ark collaborate. The gameplay is similar as Pal World describes itself as similar to Arkand it’s not as difficult for a company to make a deal as if Studio Wildcard tried to contact Nintendo. On a small scale, the crossover may feature exclusive skins that go well together. An example of this is Quetzal getting a Pal Jetragon skin.

If Ark I wanted to go further with future collaborations, Pal World offers the opportunity to. A simple idea is to remove the attack mechanic from Pal World. This would occasionally cause an extremely strong dinosaur to appear and players would have to do their best to defeat it. Instead of dying, he would be knocked out and then be able to tame him cheaper, to compensate for the difficulty of fighting.. This also brings a new experience to PvP, as multiple tribes would likely battle for this top prize.

Valheim could work surprisingly well

Ragnarök’s long-lost twin

Valheim is another of the most successful survival games, and although it is not as popular as it used to be, it could still serve you well working with Ark. Bringing ValheimThe unique art style through skins would fit in well and be similar to what the Power Rangers pack did. Monster/dinosaur skins would be more complicated, but some exceptions could be made to make it work.

On a larger scale, whenever the Ragnarök DLC map is added, this type of crossover would fit perfectly as a new addition. Maybe a small town full of Valheim items that are purely decorative or have some purposes. Although it was a big ask, a surprising result would be one of the ValheimThe hardest bosses in the game have been added in some way to challenge players.

Exoprimal is limited but works well

Many ways to kill a dinosaur

Exoprimal might not be the first game that comes to mind when thinking about Arkbut the dinosaur theme unites them. The third-person shooter has seen big-name collaborations before, so teaming up with Studio Wildcard wouldn’t be impossible. The simplest path here would be to give exclusive skins for Tek equipment inspired by armor and weapons. Exoprimal.

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to achieve anything more without going overboard. Ideas like giving armor unique abilities or adding entirely new armor would be fun, but perhaps game-breaking. Another idea would be to create a new multiplayer modeor event in the game, where players have to defend themselves against hordes of dinosaurs like in Exoprimalbut using Arkthe mechanics.

Warhammer Cosmetics would just be fun

Space Marines versus Dinosaurs

THE war hammer franchise is one of the most popular and, although it does not connect to Ark really, that would be a cool idea. The Space Marine armor is beautifully crafted and wouldn’t look all that out of place in this prehistoric survival game. If Ark If you wanted to go further, adding different customization options for unique sets would be awesome. At worst, there should be multiple Space Marine chapters included.

It would be difficult to turn war hammer monsters in Ark dinosaurs, but not impossible. The best way to do this would be to Arkthere are more science fiction maps like Aberration. Guns would be easier and possibly more popular. A clear example of this would be getting an exclusive skin for the iconic war hammer chain sword.

6

The predator has new prey

Adding more danger to forests

THE Predator the franchise is vast and has immense collaboration potential that has already been demonstrated. Skins for players would be tricky depending on how alien they are, but they could still turn out well. This would be exciting for fans of the franchise and could make for some memorable PvP moments of being attacked in the darkness by a real group of Predators..

A creative but demanding idea would be to appoint a Predator event chef. This would essentially be a small but agile alien entity that would actively hunt players. Because he was equipped with his unique arsenal, he would have ways to deal with anything that players or their tamed dinosaurs could attack them with. An experience like this would not only be a fun challenge, but also one that few other games could offer.

Horizon Zero Dawn Could Give Ark More Tek Dinosaurs

Embracing science fiction

Horizon Zero Dawn allows Ark to lean on the limited sci-fi dinosaurs it already has. This option would not be too absurd, since the Horizon franchise has already collaborated with other titles such as Genshin Impact. In the worst case, This would present an opportunity to give more dinosaurs a robotic appearance, even if they didn’t have the same qualities as the Tek variations..

With more creative freedom, this could be the perfect opportunity to add new creatures to the game. Horizon is full of unique and creative mechanical creatures that could fit very well into Ark. There may be some adjustment needed to ensure they do not go beyond the normal range Ark Too many creatures. Still, the later additions to the prehistoric survival game were incredibly strong.

4

A new way to hunt dinosaurs with Monster Hunter

A bold new frontier

Monster Hunter is an iconic franchise and one that would suit Ark relatively well. The easiest route here would be to turn the most popular armor sets and weapons into unique pieces. Ark fur. This way, even though the gameplay is very different, players can still get the feeling of fighting these dangerous beasts under overwhelming odds.

With more effort, it would be exciting to see some dinosaurs getting skins inspired by Monster Hunter. However, this would be a more difficult task due to how over-the-top these enemies are. In this regard, it may be more worth the effort to grab a small handful of Monster Hunterthe most popular creatures and recreate them for Ark.

3

Alien could bring more terror to Ark

The freak becomes alien

THE Foreigner franchise has already left its mark Ark in the form of the Reapers, along with one of the AberrationIt’s the strangest mechanic, but there may be more. An official collaboration opens doors to countless opportunities. The most obvious of these would be an official Xenomorph skin that can be placed on Reapers. It might need to be made a little bigger due to the size difference, but it would be a nice addition anyway.

A bigger opportunity could be a small DLC map or a in addition to Aberration where players are locked in a space, without any dinosaurs, and have to survive a strong Reaper/Xenomorph. This would be a unique and memorable experience, but one that would have to be closely monitored. Even without taming, survivors can become very strong in Arktherefore, it would be crucial to ensure that it still remains a challenge for well-equipped players.

2

Godzilla enters the ark

Clash of the Titans

Although modders have already added Godzilla and other Titans as some of the coolest modded dinosaurs in the Ascendedan official collaboration could still go a long way. This would be one of the most difficult due to its enormous scale, but not impossible. Skins would be limited, if any, but one idea could be exclusive armor sets designed after some of the Titans..

If Ark I wanted to take it a step further, adding Godzilla and some Titans to the game would be amazing. They would pose a challenge to even the most experienced players and would possibly be even more difficult than the map bosses. The hardest part of this would be balancing the rewards. As fun as it is to be able to tame a Titan, it would likely trivialize the rest of the game unless it was severely nerfed once tamed.

1

Jurassic Park is the obvious choice

A cinematic immersion

Whenever dinosaurs come to mind, Jurassic Park never lags behind. The almost infinite amount of ideas that can emerge from these two working together is exciting. On the small side, iconic dinosaurs like the T-Rex or Spinosaurus could have their image transferred to Ark. While they weren’t incredibly different, the mere presence of these recognizable creatures could have a huge impact.

The best outcome of a collaboration like this, which would be a lot of work, could be immensely successful. If Ark If we were able to recreate the original island, or at least the remains of it, as a playable map, it would be an incredible experience. Players could explore the island on their own and relive the events of the film or have to survive the consequences of it. This would be a monumental effort for Studio Wildcard, but also something they could charge a high price for and likely make a big profit on.

Since the door has already been opened once, it will be exciting to see what happens Ark franchise has the next one for collaborations. The Power Rangers one was attractive, but it also shows that it didn’t try to go far enough. Hopefully Studio Wildcard will learn from this and push the boundaries for future collaborations. If that happened, these 10 franchises would be some of the best options for collaborations in Ark: Ascended Survival and beyond.
