After the death of Dragon BallLegendary creator Akira Toriyama Dragon Ball SuperThe manga went on a sudden hiatus and has not yet returned. The future of the franchise is largely uncertain without its author at the helm, but although Super is off, the new and exciting Dragon Ball Daima filled the void left by the absence of the manga. When Super finally returns, fans can expect Black Frieza to have a prominent role, as the series heavily hints that he will be the final villain before the shutdown. Until Dragon Ball Super is officially announced, however, all fans can do is speculate and enjoy some new art from Toyotarou.
