The Twins Aren’t Ready to Take Down Lex Luthor

Superman’s powers have become a big question mark for the series. Without Clark, could his children face villains like Lex Luthor? Superman and Lois Season 4, Episode 9 explores this. Knowing that he is no longer at full strength and that Lex has access to Steel’s suit, Clark decides to train Jordan and Jonathan in order to face the villain. However, things are not going well. In the Fortress of Solitude, Clark makes his kids fight a hologram of Steel which captures Irons’ approach from when he tried to assassinate Superman at the beginning of the DC series.

However, the boys can barely compare to Steel’s hologram. Clark watches with a worried expression on his face as he realizes that Jordan and Jonathan are not ready to fight Luthor in the Steel suit. When he finally gets tired of watching his children get kicked by the Steel hologram, he tells them both that they can go home. Jordan and Jonathan want to continue training, but Clark assures them there is no need and they leave. Steel’s suit was close to the power of Superman at his best, which is worrying.

Although Clark has had to fight alone his entire life, that is not his children’s fate.

After talking to Lois, Clark realizes he can’t give up training the boys. The three reunite in Smallville to train. This time, Clark takes a different approach. Although Clark has had to fight alone his entire life, that is not his children’s fate. Now that Jonathan has gained powers in Superman and Lois In Season 4, Jon and Jordan can take to the skies together. Clark then asks his children to work as a team to punch him. They can’t do that, and the trio is interrupted by the return of Doomsday.

Doosmday’s return is just one of the major developments in Lex Luthor’s ultimate plan to take down Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman. In episode 8, Lex accepts not being in control and follows Amanda McCoy’s plan, which includes Gordon Godfrey and bringing down Lois Lane’s credibility. It worked, but Lex didn’t like not being in control. Superman and Lois season 4, episode 9 addresses this. Lex makes Amanda the person who holds the largest stake in Luthor Corp, second only to him. However, Lois finds out and exposes to Amanda that Lex is just using her.

Through data from the Steel suit, Lex Luthor and Milton discover that Doomsday is in Smallville. Amanda confronts Lex, who tells her that he is responsible and dons the Steel suit to go after Doomsday.

Milton managed to revamp the Steel suit, which may look the same on the outside, but has received major improvements on the inside. This includes kryptonite enhancements, which Lex uses in Doomsday, killing the character once again and allowing the monster to take its final form. Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman even managed to get to the mines in time to see Lex and Doomsday there, although he was unable to stop Lex’s plan. With the upgraded steel suit under his command and Doomsday unleashed once againBut now more powerful than ever, things look good for Luthor and bleak for Clark.

This leads to chaos in Smallville, as Jonathan and Jordan run around town saving people while Superman faces Apocalypse alonestarting their rematch after Doomsday killed the Man of Steel the last time they fought.

A weakened Man of Steel is no match for Doomsday in episode 9. Clark manages to land a few blows, but doesn’t find a way to stop the monster.
