Superheroes from 64 Marvel and DC movies and shows join forces in massive crossover concept trailer

Different life-struggle DC And Wonder Universes come together for the ultimate crossover event in a new concept trailer. Through the decades, Hollywood has seen many unique takes on the DC and Marvel properties, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline to the recently found DCEU franchise. However, while Disney, Sony Pictures, and 20th Century Fox, along with Warner Bros. Discovery, have brought many of the characters to life, a live-action crossover between the two brands has yet to happen.

As fans keep coming up with ideas for what a Marvel and DC crossover event could look like, Dr. FlashpointIn collaboration with Mindd KidzagCheck recently put together a massive concept trailer set among the many live-action universes. Titled “Marvel/DC: Secret Crisis,” the story puts the multiverse at the centerShowing that every superhero universe is in danger. Check it out below.

“Secret Crisis” is an obvious nod to the iconic storylines secret wars And Crisis on Infinite Earths from Marvel and DC, respectively. Crisis on Infinite Earths was adapted into the Arrowverse and the animated Morroverse, while secret wars Will serve as the inspiration for 2027s Avengers: Secret Wars In the multiverse saga.

What the Marvel & DC concept trailer means for the franchise

“Marvel/DC: Secret Crisis” is not only a celebration of how far the comic book movie and television genres have come, but also Serves as a reminder of how incredible it would be if DC and Marvel actually had a crossover storyline on the big or small screens. Even as recently as July 2024, Kevin Feige commented on a possible Marvel and DC crossover, with the Marvel Studios president still in the idea. However, seeing something this big happen is far different from being able to actually make it happen.

The concept trailer also lays out how complex it would be A legal standpoint to bridge DC and Marvel together between the respective studios. Although Disney owns most of their Marvel characters, Sony still owns the Spider-Man rights, and Warner Bros. Discovery is in a transition stage right now with the DC brand in light of James Gunn’s DC Universe. A lot of financial and creative resources would be required, which may not be something or studio would be willing to invest in for the time being.

The trailer for Marvel/DC: Secret Crisis perfectly shows how much fun it would be to see any of the live-action universes come together in some capacity. Although it would be impossible to get every actor from every movie and TV showIf Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney ever come to a deal where they can work out the logistics of a crossover between DC and Marvel, it would likely be the biggest event in cinematic history between major IP properties. But now, the world will have to wait and see if DC And Wonder Ever get a live-action crossover in the future.
