What this means for Stranger Things Season 5
Several plot points are teased in the episode titles

Strange Things Season 1 Episode 1 was titled “The Vanishing of Will Byers”, a clear parallel to the title of Season 5 Episode 2. As for who disappears this time, the most likely candidate is Stranger Things‘revamped character, Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher). The recast has Holly primed to play her most prominent role in Season 5which could be her being captured by the villain Vecna (James Campbell Bower) and disappearing into the Upside Down.
Another catchy episode title is episode 4, “Sorcerer.” This will likely connect to the vast program Dungeons and Dragons lore and can even tie into theories about Will secretly having powers and being a sorcerer, making Will the Wise more than a fictional character in a game. However, The most revealing episode title is episode 8, “The Rightside Up”, an obvious play on “The Upside Down”, what was the title of Stranger Things end of season 1. This hopeful episode title suggests a happy ending where things will be right again for Stranger Things‘characters.
