Starfield’s latest patch adds a new buggy and lots of performance fixes

Bethesda only released a new patch for Star fieldwhich fixes many persistent issues and adds a stylish new ride. While the developer’s post-launch support for the sprawling RPG may have been a little slow, it managed to pick up the pace in 2024, releasing several updates that tweaked some frustrating settings and included major quality of life improvements. The latest update is no exception, but Bethesda has gone a step further by giving everyone access to some exciting free creations.

On the official Starfield blog, Bethesda exposed what Star field fans can expect from the patch, including stability and performance improvements, return of unlimited framerate option on Xbox Series Xand several fixes that resolve some persistent issues with Tracker Alliance missions.

Users can also download Deimog Creation, a free add-on that introduces a new land vehicle to the game. The buggy includes an enclosed cabin and a mounted rocket launcher to help deal with some of the most hostile creatures in the galaxy.

What else is new in Starfield’s November patch?

A new festive quest

Majority Star field players would simply be happy to take command of Deimog, but Bethesda wants to celebrate the game a little more. Another free creation is launched in the form of The Perfect Recipea quest that takes users through a “exciting journey” in the city of Akila. A character-based quest, The Perfect Recipe sees players tracking down a mechanic who once had aspirations of being a renowned chef in the galaxy and helping him find his love of food and cooking once again.

Overall, the November update for Star field It’s not huge, but it serves as a good reminder that Bethesda isn’t done with the game yet. We hope the various fixes and improvements will go a long way in keeping the community happyespecially on Xbox Series X. Given that the studio has confirmed that it has even more in mind, one has to hope that Star field redeems itself in 2025.

Starfield’s creations are cool, but strangely implemented

Why do they need to be separated?

I’m satisfied with that Star field It’s still getting new content, but the way the new buggy and mission were implemented is strange. It seems like making these new features available to everyone by simply putting them in the game would be simpler than forcing users to go to the Creations menu to download them separately. Bethesda wants to boost the Creation store for players who want more from the game, but it feels a little strange when it comes to a scheduled update.
