There is a treasure of powerful weapons and valuable resources in the keep armory in Starfields Shattered Space DLC. Gain access to the Keep Armory in the Shattered Space DLC isn’t as easy as walking up and asking nicely. You have to find the Keep Armory and find a way to get inside. This was Keep Armory Made specifically for those who are part of House Bethel, Which gives a clue how to get in.
Unfortunately, the Keep Armory is locked and requires you to complete specific steps to get inside. You must navigate a web of political intrigue, forge alliances and prove your worth to the region’s ruling factions. The process of doing this involves going through many quests. It is finally the reward for going through a specific path during the main parts of the DLC, so it takes some time, even if you know what to do.
How to unlock the Keep Armory in Starfield
Everything you need to unlock the Keep Armory
You have to Complete the House Veth’aal Questline (known as Conflict in Conviction) to unlock the Keep Armory in Starfield: Shattered Space. This means you have to finish the first two DLC quests and then go down the House Veth’all Paths. To do this, you need to talk to Ekris, who will give you the quest aligning the houses. This is where you will run into trouble in persuasion. This is the quest you need to complete under House Veth’aal to gain access to the Keep Armory.
When you finally finish the questline, you’ll need to talk to Marlana Volav, who will let you into the Keep Armory because of your connection with House Veth’aal. If you haven’t finished the first two main quests and talked to Ekris to side with House Veth’al, you won’t get a conclusion to Conflict in Conviction that allows you to enter the Keep Armory. You must finish the quests and eventually talk to Marlana Volav to gain access to the Keep Armory.
Complete the two quests
You need to finish What Remains and The Promised, Broken first in Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC. What remains is just making you dock on the Oracle in a waste system. Your only job is to do some tasks inside the ship to make it function normally. Once done, you can do the promised, broken quest, which really just makes you walk the Serpent’s Path. The Serpent’s Path is much easier than Remains and shouldn’t take you very long to do. Once done, you can find Ekris to choose a house to side with.
Choose a quest from Ekris
Once you’ve chosen your effigy and received the title you prefer, head to the High Council and Milbor Dulchof of the Shattered Space DLC from Starfield. Just follow your quest marker until you find Ekris outside of the ship. He will give you the aligning the houses quest. You can choose between Ehuming the Past, Zealous Overreach, or Conflict in Conviction. Gather trouble in persuasion to side with House Veth’al. Choosing the other two quests, your side will be with houses dul’kef for ka’dik. The best choice is to go with House Veth’al.
Now you will have a lot of things to do, but you can always come back to finish them. So I would say push through and finish the quest before doing the side content.
End conflict in conviction and talk to Marlana Volav
This is where you need to focus on finishing conflicts in persuasion. This is a long quest with a lot of different things that ultimately leads you to make a choice whether to kill or spare a character for money. When you’re done, go to the Keep Armory, specifically the shop, and talk to Marlana Volav. Since you’ve proven yourself, Marlana Volav will say you’re connected to House Veth’al and can access the Keep Armory. So, you will successfully get into the Keep Armory.
Stop Armory location in Starfield
Where to find the Keep Armory
Once you are finally granted access, you need to go to the Keep. This is located in Dazra City on the moon named Va’ruun’kai. The only way you can actually get in is through the Shattered Space DLC from Starfield. If you only have the base game, the area will not be accessible to you, and you will not have access to the new features. It is important to know that if you know the place, you still need to get real access to get in.
If you follow our guide, you will gain access to the Keep Armory, however If you decide to side with another house, even knowing the place will not open the door for you. You will only be able to go to the general area on the moon of Dazra City. There is no way to break in, so not being part of House Veth’al will only give you access to the outside of the place, not inside the armory. However, the side against House Vetha’ll will allow you to be part of other houses, so there is a trade off.
Why can’t I get inside the Keep Armory after finding it?
Even if you find the Keep Armory in Dazra City on Va’ruun’kai in Starfield Shattered Space DLC, you can only get inside if you have completed the necessary steps. You must finish the first two main DLC quests, and align with House Veth’aal during the “Conflict in Conviction” questline. This involves talking to Ekris and finally siding with House Veth’aal. Only then will Marlana Volav grant you access due to your proven connection to the house. Without completing the prerequisites, the armory will remain inaccessible.
