Star Wars unmasks its newest Inquisitor, revealing his true identity after Return of the Jedi

Notice! This post contains SPOILERS for Star Wars: Battle of Jakku - Insurgency Rising #4

Star Wars unmasked his newest Imperial Inquisitor in his new post-Return of the Jedi was. After the Battle of Endor, the Galactic Civil War was far from over with the Imperial Navy not surrendering until almost a year after the Battle of Jakku. To this end, Star Wars new Battle of Jakku The series has been revealing the events that led to this definitive conflict, including the emergence of a new Inquisitor who came to duel with Luke Skywalker himself.

Although there were many threats from the shattered Empire, such as Operation Cinder and the Imperial forces gathered in the western reaches of the galaxy, the Rebellion-turned-New Republic was deeply concerned about Moff Adelhard and his brutal Iron Blockade around the Anoat Sector, denying that the Empire was truly fractured and committed to leading a new era of order. After the New Republic sent a small team to investigate and was subsequently captured, Luke Skywalker came to the rescue only to face a new hooded Inquisitor wielding a red lightsaber.:

Luke Duels New Star Wars Inquisitor

Calling this new Inquisitor an impostor, Luke could already sense the truth about this dark agent before his hood was even removed.. Likewise, Darth Vader's Inquisitors were thought to have died out even before the start of the Galactic Civil War, so the revealed identity of this Inquisitor in Alex Segura and Leonard Kirk's book Rise of the Insurgency #4 it makes a lot of sense.

Star Wars' newest Inquisitor is Reyna Oskure

An Anzati working with the Acolytes of the Beyond

Revealed to be Reyna Oskure, it appears that the long-lived Anzati was merely posing as an Inquisitor in an attempt to show Moff Adelhard the true power of the Force, both the dark side and the light wielded by Luke Skywalker. That being said, it appears that Reyna is not as trained in lightsaber combat as she initially appeared in the previous issue, as Luke easily disarms her in Rise of the Insurgency #4. That being said, that doesn't mean Oskure isn't dangerous in other ways.

A member of the dark side cult known as the Acolytes of the Beyond, Reyna is dedicated to promoting the power of the dark side and using it to support the parts of the Empire that are still standing, most notably Adelhard's Iron Blockade.. As seen in previous issues, both Reyna and the leader of the Acolytes, Yupe Tashu, have plans for the Imperial Moff, believing he may be the key to securing and maintaining the dark side's dominance over the galaxy, even after Emperor Palpatine and Darth. Vader's death.

Reyna may be defeated, but she saw Luke Skywalker's future

A dark rivalry with Moff Adelhard

Reyna predicts Luke Skywalker's future

Despite being defeated by Luke, Reyna claims to have predicted Skywalker's future with Moff Adelhard, saying that Luke and Adelhard's impending confrontation will only be the first before their seemingly inevitable and "greatest" victory. To that end, it appears that Reyna can indeed divine the future, at least in part, by seeing how Luke and Adelhard confront each other before the end of the issue (although the Moff survives). That being said, it will be fascinating to see if Moff Adelhard achieves the victory that Reyna claims she will, as well as what the fate of this new "Inquisitor" will be in the future in this new Star Wars series.
