Star Wars' newest hero is the perfect replacement for Princess Leia

Star Wars newest TV show, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, introduced a character who perfectly assumed the role of Leia Organa. Although Leia will always be one of the Star Wars best characters, Star Wars Movies and TV shows have had to adjust in recent years and move away from the original trilogy and its heroes. In part, this is because the Skywalker Saga ended in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

In the case of Leia Organa, unfortunately, this was also due to the death of Carrie Fisher before The Rise of Skywalker. Skeleton Crew has already proven that the show's creators put a lot of intentional thought into who would play these unique characters. Star Wars has faced considerable criticism in recent years for a number of reasons, but Skeleton Crew was very well received in the first three episodes. This is largely due to the characters, their brilliant actors and Skeleton Crew writing.
