Warning! This post contains spoilers for Star Wars: Inquisitors #3
Star Wars The last survivor of Order 66 gives Cal Kestis a run for his money. During the Dark Times of the Star Wars timeline, Darth Vader’s Imperial Inquisitors are sent across the galaxy to track down any surviving Jedi Knights to turn them to the dark side or eliminate them in the name of the Empire. However, one of the survivors proved to be quite elusive, and also showed a rare courage in the face of Vader’s deadly Jedi hunters.
As seen in Marvel Comics’ new and canonical Star Wars: Inquisitors #3 By Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas, Tensu Run and his fellow Jedi survivor Pan Delesek face two Inquisitors simultaneously. As the leader of a growing Jedi resistance network that offers hope to those oppressed by the Empire, Tensu Ren has long been the Empire’s most wanted target. However, the Grand Inquisitor’s recent killing of Tensu’s master has motivated Ran to start facing the Inquisitors head-on rather than continuing to hide in the shadows, and that includes the Seventh and Ninth Sisters in this new issue:
While Tensu Run has earned some impressive victories recently, his decision at the end of this new issue to face Darth Vader himself seems incredibly rash and ill-advised. nevertheless, Tensu Run’s successes are quite a testament to his prowess as a Jedi Knight in the Star Wars Canon.
Tensu Run’s last duels were with the seventh and ninth sisters
He has already defeated the fifth brother
Remarkably, Tensu jumps from the seventh sister to the ninth and back again in this new issue. Together, Ran and Delesek emerge victorious, wounding both Inquisitors while leaving them alive to live with their failures and report back to their master. The same was true in the previous issue when Ron tracked down and busted the Fifth Brother in combat.

Making fools of the three Imperial Inquisitors he’s faced so far, it stands to reason that Vader will have no choice but to meet the Order’s 66 survivors in the next issue.. Although this is exactly what Tensu seems to be hoping for, it seems like a very bad idea considering the known power of Darth Vader and his future in the world. Star Wars Timeline, though the likelihood of Tensu Run meeting his demise sooner than during the Dark Times feels incredibly high. That said, it’s pretty impressive that Ran has taken on and soundly beaten three Imperial Inquisitors so far.
Cal Kestis would be proud of Tensu Run
Even if the New Order 66 survivors are likely doomed
finally, Tensu Run’s career fighting Inquisitors bears a striking resemblance to Cal Kestis’The order 66 survivors of EA Jedi games (dropped order And survivors). After all, Kal Kestis also dueled the Ninth Sister on more than one occasion, as well as the Second Sister. However, Kal barely survived his encounter with Darth Vader, and the fact that he lived and escaped the Dark Lord’s grasp is quite impressive in and of itself.
“Ran’s desire to face Darth Vader head-on will most likely result in his death or perhaps even his corruption to the dark side…”
However, the fact that Tensu Run has since dueled and defeated three Inquisitors since his debut is quite a notable record (even by Cal’s standards). Then again, Run’s desire to face Darth Vader head-on will most likely result in his death or perhaps even his corruption to the dark side, potentially joining the Empire’s ranks as a new Inquisitor himself. After all, Tensu’s mission to hunt down the Jedi Hunters has resulted in some darker actions that he has so far kept hidden from his fellow survivors in this new Star Wars Series.
