The show picks up where it left off

While the clip doesn’t reveal too much about the larger adventure it’s a part of, it does reveal that the show will continue straight from the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 ending. The cliffhanger saw the majority of the Enterprise’s landing party kidnapped by the GornWhich is clearly still a source of major concern for the ship’s remaining crew.

This intense scene is a direct continuation of the storyline, although it remains to be seen if the rescue of the landing party will take place in season 3 episode 1 or be extended in further episodes. Should this be the case, It could reveal that the show is embracing more serialized storytelling Rather than the episodic format it has largely utilized so far, copy the narrative structure of The original serieswhich immediately precedes the Star Trek Timeline.
