As Star Trek was moved to New York Comic-Con, the release date of Star Trek: Section 31 was finally revealed during the event along with a new poster. Paramount+ confirmed that the the film will be released on the streaming service on January 24, 2025, globally. The teaser poster is simple yet striking, as Georgiou is seen against a simple lime green background, with a purple hue helping her stand out even more. Georgiou is apparently dressed mostly in dark clothing perfect for covert operations, including a large coat.

Furthermore, Star Trek: Section 31 will also explore one of the most elusive and somewhat controversial elements of his Star Trek lore, showing a darker side to General Roddenberry’s idealistic on-screen future.
