Warning: Contains potential spoilers for Absolute Power #4!

A first Suicide Squad Member – soon to be a Justice League Hero – Has just revealed that she is essentially unkillable, making her the most invulnerable hero in the DC Universe and putting all other healing factors to shame. But this is not her only newly discovered ability; She also debuted another power that makes her one of the most dangerous characters in the DCU.

Mark Waid and Dan Mora’s Absolute Power #4 concludes the Summer Crisis event with the DCU heroes emerging victorious over Amanda Waller. The finale is packed with moments ranging from shocking to downright kickass, but one moment stands out as both – Nia “dreamer” Nal’s return of the “dead” to punch Waller in the face.

Absolute Power #4 Nightwing Waller Dreamer

Fans after the event will remember Dreamer’s clear death in an explosion in the fortress of solitude Absolute power #2, where she sacrificed herself so that the other heroes would escape. While Nia’s return is undeniably epic, the explanation for how she survived makes it even better. Dreamer confirms that the blast at the Fortress of Solitude did, in fact, tear her apart. But, as she says“You can’t kill a dream. Not if people remember it.” She explains that Superboy, Jon Kent unknowingly drew her into the dreamscape by continuing to dream about her, which allowed her to rebuild and heal in his dreams. This ability is arguably one of the most overpowered healing factor abilities in the DCU, second only to Lobo.

Now that Dreamer joins the ranks of nearly unkillable DC heroes, it’s interesting to consider how she could ever be permanently killed. Based on what we know, she can theoretically recover from anything, even total destruction, as long as someone remembers her. therefore, The key to killing her would not only be physical destruction but also erasing her from the minds of those who remember her. This means that only someone with powers like Martian Manhunter, who can manipulate or erase memories, could have a chance to actually defeat her.

The revelation of Nia’s unique healing ability is far from the only notable power development for the hero. At the end of Absolute power #4, fans witness Waller locked in solitary confinement, with Dreamer standing on the other side. Waller immediately refuses her imprisonment, certain that she will blackmail her way out. In a twist, Nia challenges her to name one piece of information that could be used for blackmail – only for Waller to realize she can’t retrieve anything of importance. distressed by the sudden loss, Waller blames Dreamer for erasing her mind.

However, Nia corrects her, explaining that None of her memories were erased, but instead they were – Moved. Essentially, Dreamer gave Waller a taste of her own medicine by ‘stealing’ her biggest ‘super-maker’ – her knowledge and blackmail material. Although Nia cannot specify how or where Waller’s memories were moved, it is likely that they are locked away somewhere in the Dreamscape. Already armed with precognition, energy constructs, and more, Dreamer’s new abilities—invulnerability and memory manipulation—make her one of the DCU’s most formidable heroes.
