Spock knew his time in Star Trek The universe was coming to an end, and a heartbreaking moment proves he saw it coming. After a distinguished career in Starfleet and as an ambassador, Spock found himself thrust into an alternate universe where his story finally came to an end. In Star Trek: Challenging #21, Spock is apparently aware of how he will die, making a prediction that will unfortunately come true.
Star Trek: Challenging #21 was written by Christopher Cantwell and drawn by Angel Unzueta. Spock has just helped Worf and the crew of the Challenging prevent a Romulan invasion of an agrarian world. As the dust settles, Spock reflects on the incident and his life as a whole. Spock thinks we “keep burning,” in a constant state of flux, even if we perceive it as static. Spock's philosophical train finally reaches its destination: that we all die alone. Before Spock can think further, Worf interrupts his train of thought.

Spock died alone, far from those he knew and cared for
As Spock contemplated life in general, it is easy to see in his statement that people die alone that he was predicting his own death.. In the late 24th century, the Romulan Empire was threatened by a supernova in its home star system, and Spock, who dedicated his life to Romulan/Vulcan reunification, agreed to help. As seen in 2009 Star TrekSpock's efforts were in vain and Romulus was destroyed. Furthermore, thanks to the technology used by Spock, he was sent back in time, helping to create the Kelvin Universe.
If this law holds, then not only did Spock die alone, he likely died in great pain.
The Kelvin Universe would end up being Spock's final resting place. After helping Kelvin Enterprise on at least two occasions, Spock has passed away, as seen in 2016 Star Trek Beyond. Although the film does not reveal how Spock died Star Trek: Discovery explained, in its third season, that traveling between universes can be a risky proposition, with potentially deadly consequences for the health of those who do so. If this law holds, then not only did Spock die alone, he likely died in great pain.

IDWs Star Trek the comics are set before the start of Spock's exile in the Kelvin Universe, and the creative teams behind these books gave insight into Spock's mindset just before the Romulan Supernova. Spock is still working to reunite the Vulcans and Romulans, work that is sidetracked by the “War of the Gods.” After its completion, Spock continues to serve alongside Worf in the Challengingwhich leads him to a plan for a Romulan coup, documented in the book's latest storyline, "The Stars of Home." During the course of events, he learns of the impending supernova.

Starfleet carries risks – and Spock knew this very well
The events of “The Stars of Home” set off a chain of events that will culminate in Spock's exile and death, and Star Trek: Challenging #21 implies that he knew this in advance. Serving in Starfleet comes with many risks, including the possibility of death, as well as the possibility of dying alone. Spock, with half a century of Starfleet experience, knows and understands these risks. Spock knows he has already cheated death once, but he also understands that it was a one-time deal. With most of your friends from Enterprise dead, Spock's mind is thinking heavily about mortality.
Spock was undoubtedly in pain the entire time, but pressed on to help his younger colleague and the now homeless Vulcans.

Spock walked a lonely path in the last years of his life and was apparently aware of this, but he still went to his death with honor.
