has one of the best rogue’s galleries in all of comics, with its fights against the teleporting supervillain known as See always turning into frustratingly complicated fights that Spidey needs to adapt to consistently overcome. In a new series of cosplay images, Spider-Man and Spot do this in live action, giving fans a riff on their first fight in an inventive and visually unique way.

A comical fight brought to life on Instagram by Ultimate Spider-Ash (Image: Disclosure)@its__ash____), this cosplayer dresses exclusively as Marvel’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and serves as photographer and editor for his dozens and dozens of arachnid-dyed pieces.

Donning the spandex of Ultimate Universe’s Spider-Man, Spider-Ash recently collaborated with fellow cosplay creator @wens.1998 and his Amazing Spider-Man design, with the duo showing what it’s like when Spot expertly throws a multiversal wrench at things. recreating the iconic “Spider-Man pointing” meme and even having his Spider-Men share a bite to eat high above the busy streets of New York.

First commercial successes with Spider-Man in 1984/1985 Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man #97-98by Al Milgrom and Herb Trimpe, Johnathon Ohnn, also known as Spot, is a tragic villain with the power to open and use portals virtually anywhere and in any way.with your access to “Spotworld” allowing you to traverse different dimensions. Employing his mastery over his unique bending techniques while attacking Spider-Man with teleportation guerrilla tactics that often overwhelm his signature Spider-Sense in a fight, each battle with this foe is an intense, infuriating affair that Spider-Ash adapt live. action perfectly.

Doing a commendable job of bringing the kinetic energy of Spider-Man and Spot’s first fight, as well as all subsequent brawls, to live action, Spider-Ash adds bursts of purple, black stains, and a dirty sewer background to help tell a story influenced by various comedic moments attached to the post. Paying tribute to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse then Spider-Ash swaps Miles Morales for his version of the character and depicts Spot trapping him in different floating portals, with extended parts of their bodies appearing and disappearing in a visually impressive way and with many effects.

Spider-Man versus Spot

Spot still has one more big screen appearance coming up in the highly delayed Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse animated film, but with the MCU’s live-action Spider-Verse already bringing together Tobey McGuire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s iterations of the character in Spider-Man: No Way Homethat’s it entirely plausible that Spot will eventually make the leap into the real world too, hopefully with Miles Morales’ version of Spider-Man in tow. Until then, fans will have to look for incredible talent in the cosplay community to see what happens in real life. Spider-Man vs. See could and should be!
