Amazon Tomb raider the series may have potentially found its Lara Croft in Sophie Turner, which will be an exciting venture for the actor as she hasn’t been in much action in Game of Thrones. First appearing in the iconic 1996 video game Tomb raiderSince then, Lara Croft has become an iconic character, having been played by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander on the big screen. Now, Amazon is making a Tomb raider adaptation for the small screen and is teaming up with Flea bag series creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Although Sophie Turner has not been officially cast in the Tomb raider series for Amazon Prime yet, she is in talks to star as the tomb raider herself, Lara Croft. Turner is best known for her roles as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones and Jean Grey/Phoenix in two Fox films X-Men films. Although Turner’s role in X-Men films allowed her to do more action scenes, Turner was one of the few actors who participated in virtually no action sequences throughout all seasons of Game of Thrones. Therefore, starring Tomb raider it would be a completely different TV show experience for her.

As Queen in the North, Sansa would likely start training more than ever before, as it is important for a ruler of the North to be strong in the world of Westeros.
Therefore, instead of relying on other characters to fight her battles, Sansa could have proven herself as a warrior in her own right. Game of Thrones season 9, and did justice throughout the North. However, since Game of Thrones season 9 didn’t happen, Sansa’s future after season 8 depends on fans’ imagination. If Sophie Turner ends up joining the Tomb raider series, she will be able to show off her action skills more than ever before.
