When Sorkin confirmed his development on the Social Network sequel earlier this year, he mentioned that he “blame[s] Facebook for January 6.” He went on to say that the film will explore the darker consequences of Facebook. In the world of political thrillers like Civil warI think using a Facebook-oriented movie to tell a political story would be fascinating. It’s something the first film didn’t tackle as much but is nonetheless ripe for a Social Network Sequel.
