Sister Wives star Christine Brown and new love David Woolley have been the focus of the show’s current season, but This could spell trouble for the show as a whole in the future. Sister Wives Season 19 is a whole new life for the Brown family, showcasing their lives after Christine, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown split from Kody Brown. Although Kody remains married to Robyn Brown, his other relationships have deteriorated in recent seasons of the series and family dynamics have changed. Despite knowing things are changing, the Browns are still struggling.
While Sister Wives The 19th season was different from the others, one of the notable differences was seeing Christine and David’s relationship have so much prominence. Although other storylines are happening with Meri, Janelle, Kody, and Robyn, there was a lot of time during the season devoted to Christine and David’s relationship. Seeing Christine happy and finding new love is something viewers are excited about, but it’s been shocking for viewers to see the change in the amount of screen time they’re getting. TThe couple’s big screen time could be a bad sign for the show’s future.
Sister Wives Season 19 focused on Christine and David’s relationship
The program featured the happy couple
Although Sister Wives presented more of Meri’s independence and Janelle’s separation from the family, most of Sister Wives Season 19 focused on Christine and David’s new relationship. Christine, who was married to Kody for about 30 years, met David online and quickly fell in love with him. However Some Brown family members worry that David and Christine’s relationship is moving too fastothers are happy for her.
Throughout the season, viewers learned more about David and his life before Christine, as well as his current relationship. Knowing that the couple is already married and the filming of Sister Wives season 19 was filmed before the two-hour wedding special in early 2024, viewers have recognized the change in the show. It was welcome and seeing Christine happy is wonderful, but it was a surprise to see so much content about her and David instead of the rest of the family.
Christine, Meri and Janelle are moving on without Kody and Robyn
The original trio is moving forward
Although Christine is moving forward with her new relationship, Meri and Janelle’s journeys have been equally important. With Christine, Meri and Janelle leaving Kody and Robyn behind, things are changing Sister wives, leaving many wondering where the show will go after this season. With Christine moving on with David, Meri moving to another part of Utah, and Janelle moving on with her life after their split, things changed quickly, leaving Kody and Robyn in the dust as the pair who Sister Wives viewers are less interested.
Without plural marriage, should sister wives continue?
The program has nothing to do with its original intention
Sister Wives started out as a series about plural marriage, which means things have changed since Christine, Meri, and Janelle decided to leave the family. While they are still on the show, there is no longer plural marriage on the series. With Kody and Robyn monogamous and apparently not looking for any other sister wives to join the family, the original intention of Sister Wives is no longer part of the series. Many wonder if the show should end, and some think it spin-offs about specific cast members may work better in the long run.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10pm EST on TLC.
